Overview of research
Globalisation specify as the communication of an economic system with all another
economies in the international level. This type of action occurs from financial dealing,
commerce, political relation, manufacture and many more. With the advancement and invention
of new or innovative technologies in the field of transformation and interaction through
globalisation. This will assist in increasing employment opportunity with the help of
globalisation in different places where people redeem themselves (Noe, 2017). People get better
job without having to move from one nation to another to find better job.
Background of research
The study is supported on Marks and Spencer which is a major British international retail
organisation and its headquarter is situated in Westminster, London which elaborate in
merchandising variety of wearable, domestic production and luxuriousness commodity. It is
listed on the London stock exchange which is constituents in the FTSE 100 index. M&S was
established in the year of 1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer in Leeds (Namada,
2018). An organisation start to sell branded goods such as Corn flakes in the year of 2008.
Currently, there are around 979 stores which are operated and regulated in the UK country and
they are sell branded products in the market place.
Significance of research
The significance of this study is to examine the main advantages and drawbacks of the
global business environment where an organisation expand their business operations and its
purpose in order to achieving with goals and target. For this, researcher can enhance their skills
and knowledge which are helpful in upgrading their information.

organisation”. A case study on Marks and Spencer.

music. It is important for increasing employment opportunities which help country people in
performing good work. Marks and Spencer spread out their enterprise transaction and its
functions in order to increase aid of number of group.
As globalisation increases, there are number of organisation which are establish their
