INTRODUCTION
The main aim of the study it to identify the role of talent management along with
analyzing its future implications within an organization. Therefore, employees are the essential
assets of an organization as it helps in attaining targets on time so that firm will enjoy
competitive advantage within marketplace (Pandita and Ray, 2018). Talent management is
crucial function that helps in gaining objectives of business firm by attracting and retaining right
talent along with maintaining culture at enterprise. To complete this research on specified topic
Tesco Plc is to be undertakes that is a leading supermarket in UK who deals in grocery, home
ware, kids wear, financial services etc. this company come into existence since 1919,
headquartered in England, UK. To complete this study, researcher uses both secondary and
primary research so that authentic information is to be reflected that helps in framing valid and
reliable conclusion at the end of this research.
RESEARCH AIM AND OBJECTIVES
Research aim
“To evaluate about the role of talent management along with analyzing future implication
of talent management within an organization”. A case study on Tesco plc.
Research objectives
To review about key concept of talent management along with its importance within an
organization.
To evaluate about the role lead out by talent management in improving employee
performance and success of Tesco plc.
To recommend some effective talent management strategies for an organization along
with analyzing its future implications.

LIMITATION OF STUDY
This research includes the problem that is related to talent management in a business
firm. Therefore researcher conduct this research to resolve the limitation based on role of talent
management along with its future implications to gain competitive advantage. This research
provides effective outcomes using secondary and primary data.
The major limitation within this current research is lack of time and resources in
collecting primary data because it needs more time and require more resources. Therefore, to
maintain reliability and validity in collection of data, researcher focus on issue of application of
BERA code of ethics and data protection act so particular research should be done effectively.
LITERATURE REVIEW
Literature review defines as a survey of scholar data by using books, journal, scholar
articles etc. The literature review is to be done on the research questions and objectives
(Narayanan, Rajithakumar and Menon, 2019). To conduct this particular research, researcher
used literature review to get appropriate information on specific research questions that is based
on role of talent management along with its future implications so that at the end conclusion
would be drawn effectively.
Key concept of talent management along with its importance in an organization
As per the viewpoint of Mona Momtazian, (2021), Talent management is a systematic
function of human resource management that is working for attracting, identifying, developing,
retaining, engaging individual employees who are valuable for organization. Therefore, talent
management is highly important for business organization as it attracts number of talented
candidate within an organization. Talent management also beneficial for increasing employees
performance due to this conflicts and grievances are to be eliminated and helps in retaining top
talent within an organization for longer period of time.

Role of talent management in improving employee performance and success of Tesco plc.
According to the viewpoint of Taylor, (2018) there are several role of talent
management which improves the performance of employees and success of an organization.
However, in an organization, talent management performs a role in providing rewards and
recognition to their employees for their good work so that they are satisfied with the working and
effectiveness would be maintained in Tesco. Therefore, another role is to recruit the talent
workforce who performs the task prominently and effectively (The Role of HR in Talent
Management, 2021). Provide training to staff members is another essential role of talent that
helps in enhancing employee’s performance along with success of Tesco so that they will gain
competitive advantage.
Talent management strategies along with analyzing its future implication within an
organization
As per the opinion of “Martin Luenendonk, (2021)” there are several strategies of talent
management that helps business enterprise to gain competitive advantage within an organization.
These strategies involves providing financial rewards and recognition, providing training to
employees that helps in improving level of productivity and encouraging satisfaction of
employees within an organization. In this, offering rewards and recognition to employees gives
the sense of satisfaction and belongingness that develops employee’s morale towards positive
working. In these strategies it is to be analyzed that future implication that represents the use of
virtual reality in talent management for attracting and retaining talent, better understanding of
workforce demographics, clearly defines job specifications, strategies use of engagement and
recognition etc.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research methodology refers to a technique that is used to identify, analyze, collect,
process information based on particular topic on which an investigator can done their
investigation (Gupta, 2019). This part of research supports researcher to evaluate research with
reliability and validity. To conduct this research appropriately research onion is to be used that
are presented below:

Research approach- It defines as an action plan that is used by researchers for
accomplishing the work with effectiveness. It includes two types of research approaches that is
inductive and deductive approach. In inductive approach, qualitative data is used whereas
deductive approach is used to gain quantitative data (Murillo and King, 2019). To conduct this
particular dissertation deductive approach is to be used because it helps in analyzing numeric
data so that research findings are done in prominent manner.
Research philosophy- It is regarded as using some verdicts in a research so that
investigator get appropriate assistance in analyzing gathered information within set time frame. It
includes two types of research philosophy that are interpretivism and positivism (Zhang, Jia and
Chen, 2019). In this interpretisim philosophy is useful to gather qualitative information whereas
positivism philosophy is useful to gather quantitative information. To conduct this research,
researcher used positivism research as it develops quantitative information that helps in align
research objectives appropriately in clear way.
Data collection- This refers to the manner in which an investigator will gather data that is
associated with particular research topic. It reflects two methods of data collection that is
primary source and secondary source (Meyers, 2020). To conduct this research, researcher used
primary research where data collection is to done first handedly by using several sources like
questionnaire survey, interviews etc. while collecting data using secondary sources information
is to be gathered by already published books, journals, scholarly articles etc. Both the source are
very effective in gathering authentic data so that viable conclusion is to be drawn at the end of
this research.
Research choice- This defines as a method in which information is to be collected by
researcher in order to conduct research effectively and efficiently. Research choice is very
significant in managing and organizing whole research appropriately (Golubovskaya, Solnet and
Robinson, 2019). There are two types of research choice such as qualitative and quantitative.
While conducting this particular research, researcher used quantitative choice because it gives
reliable information on particular topic in such a manner that research objectives are attained
successfully.
