The term globalisation has a huge influence on the overall operations and progression ofan organisation. The major goal of globalization is to provide organizations a superiorcompetitive position with lower operating costs in respect to gain greater numbers of products,services and consumers. Globalisation basically approaches to competition thus its is effective ingained higher competitive position via diversification of resources, furthermore the creation anddevelopment of new investment opportunities through opening up additional markets, andaccessing new raw materials and resources. Globalisation provides a wide area of market toorganisations in respect to execute their business at global level, in respect to reaching at thehigher growth and success. In this particular research project Argos Ltd is a chosen organisation,it is a large British Catalogue retailer company (Bayrak, 2019). The company is widely concernon developing its operations at global level through improvising the functions of its operationdepartment. This is the key consideration of an organisation to maintain its business operationsby proper assistance of operational department, thus it is the most essential aspect of organisationbecause the overall growth of firm is based on the development of operation department. Thisproject contains the study about the benefits of globalization and how its impact on the operationdepartment of an organisation. In this aim and objectives will be prepared to providing support tothe investigation. In this proper literature review will be conducted for the purpose of addressingthe issue in appropriate manner. Along with this suitable methodology will be selected to supportthe literature review and data analysis will also be conducted to analysing appropriate findings ofthe project. 1

Argos Ltd is basically trading asArgos, it is a British catalogue retailer operating in the United Kingdom and Ireland or asubsidiary of Sainsbury's. The company operates its business through online as well as physicalshops. The company was founded in the year of 1972 with the potential efforts of RichardTompkins. The headquarter of the firm is in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. Thecompany majorly operates at global level and widely concern on maintaining its operationsdepartment in respect to proper assistance of organisational operations and productivity.Globalisation is effective for organisations to develop its market reach, which creates value forthe firm in developing its productivity and performance. Higher market reach develops thedemand which helps the firm in enhancing profitability by producing more goods and services. Rational of the Research The research into consideration is based on the benefits of globalisation and how itinfluences the operation department of an organisation.
