management activities. It is the role of HR manager is to arrange training programs to their
employees. By attending training class, workers of the company is able to easily deals with
business clients. Digital technology refer as the branch of engineering or scientific knowledge
that deals with the practical use of computerized or digital methods, systems, devices etc. In
includes entire kind of electronic applications and equipments that use data in parallel form of
numeric code (Digital strategy and capabilities to win in a digitized world, 2017). The explosion
of digital technology is developing, adopting and mutating speedily that firm can access the
progress and growth in essential manner (Sharon and Dori, 2015). In this report selected digital
technology is mobile application. It is a type of application software planned to run on a mobile
device including tablet computer or smartphone. This report is based on Incite Marketing
Planning Limited that decide to implement mobile technology in their business operations. It
help them to improve their profitability by providing entire information to the customers. This
information mainly related to marketing planning, brand planning etc. It is of utmost essential for
an organisation to adopt these technology so as to increase their core competencies and
capabilities. In particular information technology manager of business is thinking of adopting
mobile application that will enable different software to attract with their consumers.
Background of the research
Incite Marketing Planning Limited is a chosen small business for this research project.
Its operates their business as a strategic research consultancy. Company specialises in offering of
different services such as brand consulting, marketing planning, market landscaping, innovation
strategic customer journey, segmentation and brand planning to the B2B. The firm serves clients
in technology, FMCG, pharmaceutical industries and financial services. Company was
established in 2000 and located in London, UK. In order to attract large number of customers in
single time Incite Marketing Planning Limited decide to implement mobile technology in their
business activities (Smith, Gonin and Besharov, 2013). It is one of the best and useful tool for the

organisation to maintain strong relationship with their clients and achieve better outcomes within
preset time duration. With the use of digitalisation company is get advantage by decreasing it
time and cost on its different business activities such as operational, production, marketing etc.
Further it will also to support company to organise extensive study for gathering view points of
its clients and therefore revolutionising its services as per their demand and requirement.
However adopting mobile application in organisation is not easy for them because during
implementation of such technology they face large resistance from the employees (Stoshikj,
Kryvinska and Strauss, 2014). Therefore, to successfully develop digital technology in its
different activities like operation, marketing, production etc. it is needed for the administrator of
Incite Marketing Planning Limited to motivate and promote their workforces to adopt the new
technology by enhancing profitability and productivity of firm. Digital technology is valuable
and useful technique for the company to improve their human resource activities by way of
providing training and development program to their workforce. It will essential and significant
for the organisation to achieve their long term goals and objectives within preset time duration.

part of the research which define main purpose of conducting research. This report is based on
