knows what to do & how to do the work. When
employees are well-trained there is no need of
delivering supervision. This is because when
employees are trained they are in the position to
better utilise equipment and materials thereby
preventing wastage (Mitchell, 2013). Besides,
training also reduces the rate of accidents chances
of damages to the machines as well as equipment
as the staffs are capable of using them. Thus it
helps in economic operation as well. The employee

The on-job training and peer-to-peer training

adopted by most of the hospitality sectors, as these
methods are cost-effective and time-intensive as

job-rotation can also prove to be highly effective
(Ferrary, 2015). Many companies also organize
coaching sessions for training its employees, and it
usually includes working with each individual with
the learner to carry out a needs assessment, outline
vital goals for employees to accomplish, create an
action plan, and encourage the staffs to accomplish
the plan.
