Background of studyIn the current era of rapidly changing business environment, organizations dedicategreater impact upon the capabilities of business and thus attain success. However, it is essentialfor firm to involve highly encouraged and satisfied employees. Through discussing employeeempowerment it has been prevalent literature for many years and thus it helps in carrying out thestudy. Main focus of the study is to determine the relationship among employee empowermentand job satisfaction through reviewing and determining all the factors that effects this relation.Employee empowerment can be stated as establishing and building trust among management andemployees and encouraging their participation (The Benefits of Employee Empowerment. 2011).Also, it is one of the modern concept in order to attain high level of cooperation, self confidence,innovation, team spirit etc. Furthermore, it is essential for firms to obtain competitive edge over rivals in the market.Hence, it can be attained through innovative technology, effective marketing strategies, excellentcustomer services etc. in order to attain high advantage within firm. Apart from this, workforce isalso considered as one of the most crucial asset within firm and thus business success or failuredepends upon their qualifications and performance (What Is Human Resource Management.2013). Employee empowerment does not state that management is discarded from theirresponsibility of performance or for leading the business. However, in an employee empoweredbusiness, management responsibility comes in order to create and foster the environment inwhich it is evident that employee involvement is required in order to grow the enterprise. In thepresent study, Hilton Hotel has been undertaken in order to assess the different factors thatimpact the employee empowerment on job satisfaction. Thus, it is essential for management todevelop trust and communication with employees in order to increase confidence amongemployees and creates job satisfaction (Hotel Hilton. 2014). Rationale of the studyMain focus behind carrying out this study is to identify the “Impact of employeeempowerment on job satisfaction”. Thus, Hilton hotel has been undertaken in respect to analyzethe encouragement of employees within firm and help them to attain job satisfaction. Throughsatisfying and motivating employees it assists business to enhance customer service quality andthus retain them for long term in business. Management of business is required to develop trustand communication so that they can encourage workforce to deliver quality services.
