INTRODUCTION
Advertising is one of the effective procedure which help organisation in promoting
various goods and services among customers in market place. There are different online
advertising which are available in offering interesting advertising packages. Along with this,
marketing will play an essential role in displaying the major positive and negative features of
products among the audience. Most of the organisations mainly focus on the impact of different
advertising methods on online sales. The report is based on JJ Food Service which is food
company and they offer fine eating and pleasurable services or facilities to their guests. In this
assignment, it covers aims, objectives and questions which help in completing whole research
project. It is required for an organisation is to concentrate on enhancing marketing and
advertising activities through online sales (Strauss and Frost, 2016). With the help of marketing,
they can easily gain attention of desired customers towards their products and services. It is
important for the firm to use these techniques and methods such as marketing methods. It can be
used for analysing current demand and need of customers of the entire market place. Along with
this, literature review is used to identify various scholars and authors view points and perceptions
regarding specific topic.
Aim: “To Identify the impact of Marketing/ Advertising on Online sales: A case study
on JJ Food Service”.
Research Objectives:
To increase the sale of restaurant by 20% through usage of social media marketing
strategy within 2 months of time period.
To develop own website and online platform within 3 months of time period to increase
the online sales of restaurant in UK by 30%.
To ascertain the relationship of social media marketing with increment in the sales figure
of restaurant within 1 month of time period.
To assess the impact of social media marketing upon the overall profitability of restaurant
within 2 months of time period.

Usage of marketing/ advertising by organisation within an food industry
As per the view of Wang and Goldfarb (2017) Advertising is the marketing
communication and interactions which employs an openly sponsored, non personal messages and
sell of goods and services. For instance, advertising is the functions which is company
specialising and help in designing and executing type of products and services in the market area.
Advertising is the method which gain attention of large number of customers whether they
belongs to domestic as well as international. The company mainly deals with highly perishable
goods and services that can appeal as wide or narrow of niche market. There are various usage of
marketing and advertising in JJ Food Service that are described as under: Traditional media advertising – Businesses in JJ Food Service will make and develop
wide usage of traditional media outlets. For example, Tesco is the retail store so they can
use marketing and advertising method for promoting their products and services through
online basis. JJ Food service are use traditional marketing techniques which help them in
processing effective work such as farms and packages of food items in better manner.
This method is used for attracting nearby restaurants and cafes who are purchase their
products and goods for deliver their clients. An organisation use traditional media
advertising which includes radio, television, outdoor billboards, newspaper and so more. New media advertising – JJ Food Service is using marketing and advertising method
which assist them in boosting their sales volume in the large market place. This will help
them in gaining more income and revenue by selling new products and services among
customers effectively. New media advertising is the effective approach which main aim
is to get customers towards desired goods and services. This will enhancing their sales
and growth level and easily reach with potential customers. This is different from
