This research proposal focuses on the importance of diversity at workplace and the role of human resource management (HRM) in promoting it. It discusses the concept of diversity, its impact on interpersonal relationships and HR functions. The research aims to identify the role of HRM in promoting diversity at workplace, determine the challenges related to workforce diversity, and analyze ways to resolve these challenges. The research will be conducted using a qualitative research approach and data will be collected through questionnaires and secondary sources. The research is based on Hennes & Mauritz (H&M), a multinational clothing retailer known for its diverse workforce.
