Employees are one of the important asset of the organization and also contribute in
success of the company. It is very important for the manager of the company to maintain good
and healthy relation with all the employees in order to get their commitment. One of the main
advantage of managing effective employees is to increase overall productivity of the company in
market place. Employee and employer relation affect the company performance so that it is

Better employees relation not only contribute in enhancing the productivity but also reduce the
chances of rising the conflict situation at the workplace. It aid in achieving the competitive
advantage in the market place from its rival. Present report is based on Tesco, it is a
multinational grocery company and operating their process in various countries. With the help of
good employee relation Tesco easily deliver their quality services to its customers and attain
their higher satisfaction. In this report various frame like unitary and pluralistic terms are
included which affect the employees relation in positive manner. It also define the main player of
employee and employer. Along with this, various approaches are also used by the manager to
resolve all the conflicts situation at workplace.

Better employee relation is more important for the Tecso to achieve the competitive
advantage. With the help of this company easily reach their target and attain it effectively. In this
many changes take place to maintain the employee relation in the business. In today's business
environment the main focus of the firm is to enhance the employees productivity to get their
commitment and also share better decisions to control the conflict situation (Saunders, 2012).
For this company use various approaches to manage better employee relation among all the
employees so that they can able to attain all the target of Tesco. The main aim of using
approaches is to manage effective workforce which lead in carry-out all the activities in
appropriate manner. Various fames are as follows:

firm which related to the employees relation. For this the main and important
responsibility of the top manager is to promote ethical and better workplace for their
worker so that they perform their best and also maintain the positive relation (Seifert,
2015). In this one individuals take all the decision which maintain the employee relation
in professionals manner which aid in increasing the commitment and loyalty of the
workers towards the company. This approach is based on resolving all the conflicts
between employee and employer so that they attain positive success in appropriate
manner.
 Pluralistic frame: It define the combination of various factors which is define the
effective workplace in the organization such as attitude, behaviour of the employees and

performance negatively. In this trade union play important role which aid in resolving all
the dispute that arise between workforce (Sheikh, 2010). For this it is important to
include the negotiation method so that all the employees feel comfortable and their
importance in the business. In this the main and important responsibility of manager is to
maintain the positive relation among employees so that they easily attain positive results.
Both approaches are more important for the organization as well as manager of bring
coordination among employees which aid in enhancing the overall productivity of the workers.

and benefits in effective manner. There are various changes which take place in trade union that
directly affect the employees relation in the organization which are as follows: Technological: It is a big change in the trade union which cut the employment rate in the
business because they add new and advanced technologies in their process. It eliminate
the use of employees and fire their employees which negatively impact on the
management and employees relation. For protect their job they object and go on strike
which reduce the overall positive image of the company in marketplace.
 Political and legal: In this new laws and policies also affect the employee relation.
Political and legal factors also a major change in the Tesco. The management of the
company follow all the rules and regulations to resolve all the dispute and conflicts
between employee and employer.

interest of the employees towards it work and also provide safe workplace so that they perform
their best and reduce all the conflicts in effective manner (Vveinhardt, 2010). The also protect
the employees rights by using effective methods as well as strategies like collective of
bargaining. They also provide better training and development program to enhance employees
skills and knowledge and also boost up their morale so that they faced all the conflict situation in
appropriate way. In this the management of the Tesco provide facilities to their workers
according to their demand so that they deliver quality services to their customers in order to
achieving their high level of satisfaction level.

Better and good employee relation play important role in success of the business because
it helps in increasing the overall productivity of the company in effective manner. In the business
organisation various peoples are there who all are responsible to maintain the healthy employee
relation (Ahmad and Allen, 2015. They take initiative to listen all the employees problems and
take best decision to resolve all the conflicts in appropriate way. There are some important player
which contribute in developing the better employees relation with in the Tesco which are as
follows: Manager: Managing director play important role in the business organization who
manage all the activities in effective way and also maintain better relationship between
employee and employer. The main responsibility of the manager to provide healthy work
environment to their employees so they perform their duties in ethical manner and do not
include unethical activities. They also ensure that all the process are functioning in better
way so that they decrease the chances of arising the conflicts between employee and
employer. One of the important duty of manager is to enhance employee morale by
motivated them so that they done their task with more efficiency (Bennett, 2013). Hence
the manager of the company is main player who contribute in managing the employees
relation in appropriate manner. Workers: The main duty of the employees is to execute their task in effective manner so
that they achieve desirable goals and objectives of the business. The main responsibilities
of all the staff members to define their loyalty toward the company and follow all the
policies and guidelines at the time of performing their duties (Brown and Brown, 2017).

the better relation with the employer in order to improving their company performance in
effective manner. Every employees have to follow the principle of minimum wastage of
all the available resources. The should not take wrong advantage of their work and
position. Government bodies: Every country as well as firm have to follow all the rules and
regulation which set by the government bodies to maintain the ethical work environment
at the workplace. The main aim of government is to define effective welfare in order to
maintain the sustainability in the country. They set various rules as well as such as child
labour, health and safety act and many more legislation which protect the employees
rights and interest in the organization. All these aid in developing the better relationship
between employee and employer.
 Trade union: It is also a main player of the employee relation which protect the interest
and promote the safe work environment to the workers in order to get their loyalty and
commitment towards the company. They focus on various activities like advertising, and
many more which contribute in maintain the better coordination between all the process
(Contrepois, 2011).
All the main player of the employee relation play crucial role in performing all the
activities within the organization which aid in protecting the employee and employer interest

In business organization conflicts are easily arise at workplace which affect the overall
performance of the company. It create various difficult situation like strikes of the employees
and lockout. For resole all the complexity organization used various approaches to maintain the
better work environment in effective manner (Cullinane and Dundon, 2011). All the conflicts
take place in the organization which reduce the productivity of the employees due to negative
relation with employer. It faced by the every level of the management so that they frame all the
process effectively. If manager of the company do not allocate better work as well as operation
which reduce the employees motivation. In this situation collective dispute take place which

create negative work environment with in the business. For this every employees raise their
voice against to the management and get their right and also take wrong advantage of their
position. In case the top level management do not follow all the ethical guidelines and not
allocate proper work to the employees as per their capabilities. So that workers go on strike and
do not follow rules and regulation of the company that directly affect the profitability as well as
image of the firm in the market place.
Along with this, workers will not deliver quality services in the market and its customers
that lead in increasing the number of complaints and feedback (Currie, 2013). For resolve this
situation the top level management organize a formal meeting for communicate with all the
employees in ethical way. They also provide chances to the worker to define their opinion and
views so that they take smart and better decision for resolving this situation.
Furthermore, at the time of complaining of employees at the workplace is also a major
conflicts situation which lead in creating the negative environment with in the business. For this
the top authorities respond that they allocate work properly and also give fair treatment to the
employees so that they easily execute their activities smoothly. With the help of ethical rules and

employees so that they maintain the positive environment in appropriate manner. In the above

also impact on relationship between male and female staff. So that they do not work as a
team and also avoid them which may reduce the productivity of the company because due
to this reason they do not able to provide better services to their target customers. It is
important duty of the manager to resolve this conflicts by allocating proper work so that
they maintain healthy relation with each other and put their efforts to get positive
outcomes in appropriate manner.
Along with this, these type of conflicts arise negative work environment that reduce the
productivity of the company and also fails in delivering the quality products to their customers

towards its work so that they can perform their best and attain maximum positive outcomes in
reliable way. The main aim of this group to set some rules which provide safe working
environment. It directly impact on overall performance of the company. For formulating all the
process cited company use collective bargaining for develop ethical relation with employer by
resolving al the dispute. There are some effective roles of negotiation which is used by the
Tesco to evaluate the better collective bargaining are as follows: Negotiation contribute in achieving the effective solution: One of the best advantage of
negotiation is to find better solution to resolve the conflict situation in appropriate

organization organize the formal meeting with their senior level of management and put
their views and problems to get better solution in order to resolve with more efficiency. Negotiation assist in improving the effectiveness in collective bargaining process:
