INTRODUCTIONEmployee relation is more important for a organization to attain higher success. It isimportant duty as well as responsibility of a manager to maintain healthy relationship among allthe staff members. Good and strong employee relation helps in increasing the overallproductivity of employee and its company which contribute in success of the firm. It is aneffective process to encourage the employee to perform their best in every task and get positiveresults in appropriate manner. Basically healthy relation among employer and employees iseffective tool to motivate the workers to perform their task in effective manner. In today'sbusiness environment maintain better relation between employee and employer which aid inimproving performance of the company (Negotiation Strategy, 2017). It is not only increase theproductivity but also eliminate all the reasons which create conflicts in the company. Positiveenvironment is also define healthy relation which aid in achieving its targets. Present report isbased on Tesco PLC, it is a multinational outlet that operate their process in various countries.This assignment include various approaches for maintaining employee relation. It also includeeffective process to resolve all the conflicts which arise in organizational process. Along withthis it also discussed the impact of human resource manager on employee relations. It also definevarious task which include unitary and pluralistic on the basis of employee relation.TASK 11.1 Unitary and pluralistic frames of referenceIn every organization various changes take place which affect the overall performance ofthe company. All employee are the important assets of the company which contribute on itssuccess at marketplace. In recent time every employees wants to increase employee productivityby motivating them and get best outcome in effective manner. For this there are two approachessuch as Unitary and pluralistic frames both are affect the employee relation in different ways. Unitary frame: In this process of employee relation, there are one top authority whomanage all the process as well as operation that related to the employee relation and they take allthe important decision in appropriate manner (What is Employee Relations ?, 2017). It is mainand important duty of manager as well as top level management to define ethical work andloyalty between all the employees so that they easily perform their work and get all the commongoals. productivity of employees. Further focus should be done on process of setting mutual goals asthis will ensure growth of both employers and employees (Bach and Kessler, 2011). This framedefine that union trade is more important in resolving all the conflicts which create in employeesmind which affect negatively on the business performance. So that it is more important resole allthe obstacles as possible in order to achieve its targets in appropriate manner.Pluralistic frame: Under this approach, it define that organization include various type ofworkers at working place. So that the working environment is a combination of various attitude,behaviours, beliefs and different culture of the employees. In this management of the company ismore important to define effective process because at working place various peoplecommunicate with each other so that it create more conflicts which is unavoidable but some timeit is not impact on the organization negatively (Bamber, 2013). Tesco include various employeesso that they work together and all are having different interest as well as opinion so that it isimportant duty of company manager to maintain effective coordination among them and getpositive end results in appropriate manner. According to this approach trade union is alsoimportant and positively affect the business performance by encouraging and motivating workersand also give some authorities to take better decision. In this with the help of bargaining processcompany achieve stability in employee relation. 1.2 Way in which changes in trade unionism affect employee relationsIn business process changes take place in trade unionism and which affect the employeerelation directly. It is an effective process as well as group or people that focus on resolving allthe problems and also save the interest of employees and employer in business so that theyperform their task effectively and get best results in appropriate manner (Choi, 2011). As percourt order in 1901, trade union strictly take best action on those firm which does not providebasic rights and facilities to its employees so that they faced many problems at their workplace.The main and important purpose of trade union is to protect workers interest. They define theirrules and regulations for the workers and it is essential for the company to follow it effectively.In 1921, at the time of declining of the business employer cut the wages of its workers and afterfew time period they again cut the wages and also increase the working hour of the employees.For this trade union is more important for safeguard the interest of the workers and employer toachieve effective and positive results.
