2.2 Individual Skills
This exercise assists me in enhancing my performance as I came to know about my weak
points. Similarly I emphasised on my strengths to that I could carry out the assigned task in an
appropriate manner. Skill audit is having various parts which are explained as under:
Teamwork- Being the team of the project of Brain tumour charity, the team was required
to work as a whole in order to accumulate funds. For this team is required to be delegated task in
an effective and proper manner (Ceri-Boom and et.al., 2017). As I have strength that without any
support I can complete my task and manage the whole team in a perfect manner. So I managed it
very effectively so that to minimise conflicts due to which the productivity of the team was so
high.
Communication- In order to attain goals in an effective manner, the member of every
team is required to have efficient communication with their team members. Being a team leader I
established communication between team members so that they can communicate to me directly
when they have any problem and they need my assistance. With the help of this skill without any
ambiguity I was able to delegate task to each and every team member.
Research- This skill is essential so as to find some more in some activities or situation.
With the help of research Brain tumour charity I was able to get to know about those areas where
our team is able to position their strategy so as to gather as much possible funds. This helped my
team to perform in a better way due to which we would help high in charity.
Planning- As being a leader plans and policies were made in advance so as to meet the
objectives. For the entire team member it is required to emphasise on each and every aspect so as
to attain the decided goals in a considerable manner. This is my strength that I am able to make
feasible plans which can be accessed by each and every team member.
Decision making- The group exercise is wholly based on collecting funds for Brain
tumour charity so for this on various aspects the higher authority is accountable to make
decisions. So for the process of decision making all the decision were taken by me which are
stick to the final goals of the project. By reacting in a prompt manner at all aspect made the team
more effective and productive (Chapsal and Vilain, 2019).
Problem solving- This skill is the most essential skill which is required in an individual.

aptitude. So it is required to develop this skill on each and every individual so as to get solution
at ealiest stage which will lead to have high productivity in the project and team as well.
Organisation- All the activities are required to be organised in such a manner that all the
skills can be utilised and task can be accomplished in a considerable way. Due to confusion in
work priority I lacked behind this skill and to improve this I tried to delegate task by keeping all
the available resources in my mind so that in current situation the goals can be achieved in
effective way (Cooper and et. al., 2017).
Time Management- The assignment which are given in a group are required to be
completed within the given specified time limit. Being a team leader lack of time management
skill will lead the tasks undone on the deadline. In order to find out the loop hole in this skills,
old data are required to be analysed so that to find out the gaps.
2.3 Individual development with example
With the view to enhance skills and knowledge this project is helpful in that aspect. Every
individual is having some strength and weaknesses for example: due to mismatch of thoughts the
team may have group conflicts. So in order to deal with these conflicts, feedbacks were taken so
as to solve the issue and to obtain advices from others. This helped the individual to focus on
their own work. I have obtained feedbacks form the team members so that to take out honest
opinion so as to manage tasks as according to my skills. These helped me in the project to gain

2.5 Gibbs' Model of Reflection
This model was propounded in 1988 by Graham Gibbs which is the sum of structure that is
to be learning from the experiences. The stages of this model are explained as above:
Description- Under this stage work was assigned by me for the project of helping people
who are having disease of Brain tumour. This is the first time when I was working as a team
leader for attaining this type of objective. At the time of assigning duties, I faced negative and
positive face of experiences. In the beginning when I was appointed as a team leader, I have
given the responsibility to monitor the work which is done by others so as to take out better
results. In the initial stage it was difficult for me but late on I managed my team member and got
better results which helped me to enhance overall productiveness (Engelbrecht, Yasseen and
Omarjee, 2018).
Feelings- Under this stage both negative and positive aspect was shown by the team
members for assigned duties and responsibilities. The positive attitude was seen as some of the
team members were keen to learn new experiences but on the other side some team members
were not ready to face challenges. Furthermore, it was a great experience which boosted
confidence in me and enhanced by knowledge and skills due to which I was able to cop up with
my nervousness. As it is not an easy task to obtain funds form the population which is a charity
to Brain tumour disease, so in initial times I was nervous but late on with my high confidence I
dealt with this.
Evaluation- In this stage I analysed that various things were having positive and negative
impact on my project. The positive impact was that I was able to enhance my skills and negative
impact was that I was having unsupported co-workers. Each of the co-worker was much focused
on their own objective rather than focusing on the project so in this way the project lead me to
face both negative and positive experiences.
Analysis- Under this step, analysis is executed so as to check that whether the goals and
aims have been achieved for which the project has been initiated. As the passage of time all the
difficulties were eliminated and then all the members have started to contribute their level best.
The team realised the power of team work due to which the goals were achieved in the given
should be managed in such a manner that they work to achieve overall project objectives.

The team realised the power of team work due to which the goals were achieved in the given
time frame (Graesser and et. al,, 2018). This analysis helped in correcting those mistakes which
were seen in the process of the project.
Conclusion- From the project I have learned various things which helped me to enhance
my personal and professional career. Each and every member of the team was fully enthusiastic
to learn new things which are helpful in having high growth. I enhanced some of my skills such
as team work, leadership, communication skills and many more.

will be assigned to me so as to get high efficiency and productivity. With known knowledge I am
able to perform that task in a considerable and efficient way which will lead to me to attain
objectives in an early time.
2.4 Support of Above
