business of Brooklands Hotel. At the stage of implementing the changes, the workers will realise
the advantages of the changes that are being implemented in the hotel.
Refreeze- At refreeze level, the hotel will achieve the improvement in the level of productivity
and cost reduction.

Due to the implementation of various changes in the hotel, the organisation will realise
various outcomes. They are as follow-
Positive impact- There are various positive impacts on the operations of the hotel after
implementing the strategy of cost leadership to reduce the cost of operations of the hotel. To
reduce the cost of operations, Brooklands Hotel has implemented advanced technologies such as
artificial intelligence, internet of things etc(Bridge, S. and O'Neill, 2017).
This has resulted in improvement in the satisfaction level of the guests of the hotel. Participative
leadership style helps to improve the job satisfaction level of employees and level of employee
retention has been reduced.

The resistance level of workers in respect of the proposed changes is high in respect of change in
the technology of production and delivery of the services to the clients. This may affect the

How the changes will be managed .
To manage the changes in the hotel in effective manner, the management of Brooklands
Hotel will use Kotter's 8 steps model to manage the changes. There are various steps of the
model they are as follows-
