How Does Microsoft Take it Online
Microsoft being a both B2B and B2C company has created its own Facebook Social Media Page
for its sub-brands and main products along with its main corporate accounts including Xbox,
Internet Explorerand Windows Phone
The Facebook page is updated frequently and has a sound balance of Visual content along with
interesting and engaging quiz and questions to allow consumers to respond and interact on
areal time basis
The Microsoft Sub-brands have also come up with varied interesting Facebook apps like
Window’s Phone have “Social Hub”
Microsoft has a large number of Twitter feeds in its different Twitter account most pertaining
to its high profile products like Xbox, Bing, Office. The Main Microsoft feed has over 45000
Followers while The Xbox Support Feed is regarded as the most responsive brand over
Twitter tweeting approximately 1.3 times a day.
Microsoft does not claim to have an official Pinterest Page yet its has over 370 pins across 22
boards which includes broad sections of artwork, photography and travel destinations,
sports and flowers ((Moth and Moth, 2019).
Microsoft does not have an official Google account as well, though few of its sub-brands
maintain a sound communication through this social media application
