The article helps in providing the comparative analysis of the quality management
capabilities of the different companies which are mainly categorized with the help of size
along with groups. It is based mainly on the New Zealand and Australia Standard Industrial
Classification code. The authors have commented that the companies can be maintaining and
implementing the quality assurance system through identifying the goals of the company,
assessing the feedback which are provided by the different customers and implement the
continuous improvement plan which will be leading toe successful outcome.
Summary
As commented by authors, the total quality management is the revolutionary
approach to the effective management which will be helping in coping up with the challenges
related to the business globalization. Moreover, by making all the employees focus on the
quality management as well as continuous improvement, the different organizations can be
effective in establishing as well as upholding cultural values which helps in creating the long-
term success for both the customers along with organization (Lobo, Samaranayake and
Laosirihongthong 2018).
From the various comparative studies. It can be seen that there is high level of
correlation between the organizational performance as well as the quality management. The
major objective of the paper is to present the effective comparative analysis of capabilities of
the quality management prospects for determining the efficiency in managing the growth of
the company. As discussed by the authors, proper commitment as well as understanding from
the employees play a vital role in making TQM the fundamental part of the work (Lobo,

The employees should be aware regarding the fact of the corporate goals and these
goals are essential for generating success of the company thoroughly. The authors have
commented that the TQM is the continuous process which will be requiring constant
improvement in different related policies as well as controls that are established with the help
of the management.
Analysis
The methodology which has been used in the respective article is done through the
usage of the questionnaire-based survey was conducted. There were different kinds of
statistical data analysis along with multivariate and univariate data analysis for identifying the
significant kind of differences as well as similarities in the total quality management
capabilities between medium and small sized companies (Lobo, Samaranayake and
Laosirihongthong 2018). From the respective methodology, it has been found that from the
surveys which were being conducted, there were high level of differences between the
capabilities of the quality management in the large companies as well as SMEs. However,
there were no such differences between small and medium sized enterprises.
From the overall analysis of the article, it has been found and analyzed that due to
lack of the continuous improvement, it will be allowing the stagnancy in the product and it
will be increasing the number of the defective products which will be getting delivered to the
customers. In the large sized companies, the total quality management process includes the
involvement of the customers as well as satisfaction. There can be inclusion of the external
program related to the customer service which will be appropriate in recognizing the different
successful efforts of employees in providing the outstanding as well as excellent service to
the customers appropriately.
