Talent management strategy
Business Strategy and HR Strategy
Business strategy of Aviva is to provide the customer with the secure lives and prepare
them for what’s ahead. The insurance company provide the customers with advisor as well as the
service agents. The company strategy is aimed in making the Aviva the best in the market place,
for which the company satisfies the customer as well as the employee, along with the growth and
the productivity. The company is able to stand the traditional and the new companies in the
market place. The company promotes the collaboration of the region and the functions, the
company values the employees. The organizational process of the company is constantly
changed according to the needs of the competitive market area (Maheshwar and et.al, 2017).
Recruitment, including recruitment channels
The recruitment at Aviva is done as follows:
The application process consists of CV and covering letter, online application, numerical
and verbal reasoning, telephone interview and assessment center.
CV or the application form to know the reason to apply for the job, skills and interests.
After the completion of the application stage, psychometric test is completed and long with that
aptitude test, numerical test and various other test are completed. In the assessment center the
employee is made familiar with the working environment.
Selection Methods
The individual applying for the Alliance Company have to pass through various tests to
be able to hire at the Aviva Company. Psychometric test, numerical reasoning test, verbal
reasoning test and after that the telephone interview is taken that will last for an hour. Then the
applicants are selected according to their skills and the interests (Rani, Taneja and Taneja. 2021).

system. The managers of the company set the realistic and the specific goals that are measurable
