INTRODUCTIONIn an organisation, employees plays a very crucial role in order to attain the organisation objective. In the absence of human resource, company can not sun and survive its business activities and functioning (Boxall and Purcell, 2011). Thus, it is very important for the organisation to manage and maintain employee’s ion such manner so as they can effectively carried out their responsibility and give their effective contribution toward company growth and success. In this following recruitment and selection process and its importance with respect of health and social care organisation has been systematically addressed. In addition to this , team working and theories by which team member can interact with each other has also studied in thisreport. Furthermore, strategies for promoting the continuing development of individuals in the health and care organisation and theories of leadership has systematically discussed in this report.The major objective of this report is to understand that how human resources are maintain and mange within the health and care organisation and how its various function can conduct like recruitment and selection, leadership, training and development, team working etc.TASK 11.1 Factor that considered in the planning of recruitment and selectionIn the health and social care organisation, at the time of recruitment and selection planning, manager may consider the various kinds if factors which are as follows-Education- In the health and social care organisation, while manager develop the planning aboutthe recruitment then he/she must have consider the education level of candidate. The education of candidate must match to the vacant position requirement.Work Experience- Work experience is another factor that consider by the manager at the time of planning of recruitment and selection (Bratton and Gold, 2012). Skill and knowledge of candidates- This is major factor which consider at the time of planning the recruitment and selection within the health and social care because at the time of selection manager have to analyse and evaluate individual quality, knowledge, efficiency, skill related to determined vacant position. Effective skill and knowledge aid to company in attaining the desired objective.Company objective- At the time of planning of recruitment and selection in the health and social care, company objective must consider by the manager. The selection must be made according toorganisation purposes and goal.1.2 Relevant legislative and policy framework of the home country influence selection andrecruitmentIn order to make the recruitment and selection fair and avoid the discrimination within the organisation, UK government has developed various kinds of legislation and code of conduct which St Margaret’s nursing home have to follow at the time of recruitment-Discrimination act 1995- UK government has developed this act in order to protect and prevent the employees or candidate from the discrimination at the time of recruitment and selection and promotion. As per this act, company can nit discriminate any candidate at the time of recruitmentand selection on the basis of their age, culture, region, gender and other personal relation. The recruitment and selection must be happen on the basis of individual quality, knowledge, talent, efficiency and personal relationship.Data protection act 1998- In health and social care organisation, management have nit right to disclose any personal detail of candidate with other and use for any other purposes.
