INTRODUCTION The developing managers is the key aspect that relates to the up gradation of skills andknowledge of the executives so that they can justify the position they hold. The manager play a crucial role in thecompany it help in assuring that business progress towards it vision and mission. In additionTherefore, by developing its skills and knowledge organization can determine its prolongedsuccess and prosperity (Trought, 2012). In order to assure manager does things right, it isimportant for entity to check their continuous development through training sessions etc. Thiswill further help in developing their management, leadership, critical thinking, decision makingand analytical skills etc. In this report, various aspect of developing managers will be studied in the context ofprovided case scenario. The first task the learning will shown in the context of Savoy hotel andStarbucks which are reputed names within hospitality industry. The comparison betweendifferent management styles of cited companies will be provided. Discussion about the 5leadership characteristics will be provided. Further, leading and motivating a team to attain aagreed goal will be discussed. Thereafter, explanation about how own managerial and personalskills support career development in a business will be provided.
