Following are the various stages that through which employee life cycle can be improved: Recruitment:the cycle starts with the recruiting a candidate into business. It refers to placing right person at right place. It provides them opportunities to employees as to develop themselves in their field. Therefore, it is the basic and the most important stage of HR cycle.
Orientation:At this stage, company starts treating the candidate as a part of workforce. Proper training is being provided to them in order to help them in developing their knowledge regarding their work(Noe and et.al., 2017). It is important to enhance their working efficiency and their personal knowledge as well. Career development:This stage can be consider as the most important stage of HR life cycle. It leads in providing career opportunities to employees as to achieve the company's goals. It results in providing long term career opportunities to the employees. Termination or transition:It can be seen as the final stage of a HR cycle. It refers to either termination of employees from company or providing them retirement. At this stage, employees are moved out from the business due to whatever reason. Recommendation In this regard, it can be analysed that each stage of the employee life cycle is an important part of talent management. Although, a HR manager of cruise ship can be recommended to have a major focus over the orientation and career development stage of the HR life cycle, as it would help in enhancing development opportunities of both company and the employees. ACTIVITY 4 Performance planning A Performance management plan refers to a documentation that provides a set procedure through which an organisation could become unable to develop, manage, monitor and control the improvement of performance of tits employees. Bar on a cruise ship should develop their performance management plan as to manage the concern of staff and develop their corporation with leaders as under: Proper communication:First of all HR needs to have appropriate communication with each waiter and waitress as to take their own views towards the business. It would lead in having a complete analysis and detection of negative views of employees. Listen to their queries:managers should develop a plan as to take feedbacks from the employees(Executive, 2016). In this regard, they would be able to analyse understand

Hospitality laws relates to travel, hotel, restaurant, lodging, bar, spa, food services and various other activities conducted by Carnival Corporation & PLC industry. It deals with general housekeeping services and therefore it is important for this division to connect and cooperate with reception team which ensures check in and outs of guest which helps in easy management of guest expectation (Sun and et.al). This coordination of functional role will be helpful for Carnival UK in managing safe, reliable and secure operations at the time of flagship programme. Further, bartenders and wine stewards in cruise line are priority employee which helps in delivering quality living experience to guest. These services fall under Food and beverage department where chef executive at cruise divides kitchen intro two galley that is hot and cold where hot comprise grill, soup, fish and vegetables whereas cold comprise buffets, pastry and baking products. Communication helps in achieving organizational objectives by effectively interacting with staff and coordinating activities of all crewmember to achieve higher operational efficiency which leads to attainment of organizational goals. CONCLUSION This study will also highlight, double-Entry Book-Keeping to trial balance. From the above study it has been summarized that,company must use key Performance Indicators for Restaurants to measure the financial performance. It also evaluates the importance of the HR Life Cycle in relation to strategic talent management. Further it also evaluate performance planning by effectively resolving the negative behaviours of the waiting staff and overcome the issues of staff retention. This study further includes hospitality laws in for higher operational efficiency and productivity. It further includes various legal and ethical considerations which leads to sustainable working of the business. It also highlights, various functional roles within the hospitality sector and critically analyse and evaluate different methods of communication, co- ordination and monitoring methods in the Food & Beverage Department of a cruise line.
