INTRODUCTION
This report has been covered case study of hotel Imperial that is one of the leading hotel
brand United Kingdom. This company is facing the negative work culture problem among the
staff an high level of sick leaves and poor attendance of their Staffs. This situation is affecting
their sales and creating pressure on the hotel group. This company is trying to improve there
problem by assessing the new managers everyone Ann putting the bonus schemes that are
directly linked with their financial performance of the company to improve their sales reducing
and controlling the cost (Erichsen and Reynolds., 2020). This hotel four star hotel and it is
necessary for them to provide our excellence customer services to their guest because it is
directly interlinked with the guest satisfaction survey but they are not able to provide high level
of satisfaction to their customers, because of lack of confidence within the staff and the negative
work culture is affecting the company sales and operations and guest satisfaction. The main
reason behind negative workplace culture of this hotel was because of the previous general
manager who was very tech toxic with the staff Anne this company was very busy in last year
because this company was working 365 days year operations. it means that staff members was
working long period of time that was creating the problems like sick leaves high level of leaves
by the staff members. It affects the companies workplace environment and also affect the health
of workers and they were forced to take leaves so they can get rest for themselves.

There are some management theories that can be used by be gentle manager of the
Imperial hotel to improve the problem related to the negative work culture At their workplace
(Hawkins, Jeong and Smith., 2019). there are Some management theories that can be helpful for
the manager of the company to overcome from the negative work culture problem and they were
able to take competitive advantages within the market where they are operating their business
and again able to show their presence as a one of the best four star hotel within the United
Kingdom.

The management theories are the collection of ideas that are able to recommend the
general rules for how companies can organise or manage their business. management theories
address how superiors implement these strategies to accomplish the organisational goals and
objectives and how they are able to motivate their employees to perform effectively for the
company and provide higher goals so company and take competitive advantages within the
market where they are operating their business (Nicotera., 2019). According to this situation
within the Imperial hotel human relations theory can be useful to welcome from the problem
and they can take competitive advantages.

human relation theory Is the theory that was developed by the Elton Mayo. it is one of the
most effective and profitable theory that can be helpful for the hotel Imperial to overcome from
the problem and they can create better human relation at their workplace and motivate their
employees. this duty is focused too conduct the experiment design that are helpful to improve the
productivity that laid the foundation for the human relation moments. This theory is focus is to
changing the working conditions at their workplace like working environment, time employees
spend at the workplace, lighting an proper break for the employees, the developer of this theory
also mentioned that changes at the workplace is not enough but companies superiors also have to
put their effort to make feel employees valued and they can be more comfortable at the
workplace and able to help company to succeed in their market. general manager of the Imperial
hotel can also use this theory by providing the proper rest and flexible working us that will
provide a break to the employees and they will be again motivated (Ishii., 2019). the main
reason behind negative work culture was long working hours and Due to it employees were
taking leaves which was operating the company’s sales. general manager can provide a proper
rest time by reducing The Walking arts for the employees or they can also recruit the new
employees who can work at night and some at the time so every employee will get a proper time
to rest and they were able to be active at their workplace. this will help them to overcome from
