Introduction
Talent acquisition is the process of searching and adapting humans that are helpful in achieving
organisational goals. It is responsibility of human resource department of any organisation to hire
talented candidates which will help in attaining organisational tasks and goals in specific time. Talent
retention is defined as ability of organisation to retain talented employees. In this report factors of talent
acquisition and retention are explained for an airlines company naming British Airways. This PPT
explains evaluation of HR life cycle and the importance of HR manager in retaining talent applied to
revenue manager of British Airways. In later part of report performance management plan for a revenue
manger is explained.

Overview of issues
Airline industry is very broad in size which contains huge number of workforce who works for them.
With the increasing size of the industry, companies belonging to it are facing variety of issues that
impacts negatively on employee turnover ratio. In context to British Airways, it has been analysed
that the company is facing some issues related to retaining staff, different stages of HR life cycle etc.
which impacts negatively upon the talent acquisition and retention within British Airway.
