INTRODUCTION
The tourism is becoming important sector in whole world which is growing day by day as it
influence the number of people and make decision to visit other places. The study starts with an
overview of the important challenges surrounding collaboration in tourism development,
followed by an in-depth look at three major concerns surrounding institutional collaboration in
tourism in the Central Region (Schilling, and Shankar, 2019). Deal is the town in Kent, England
that lies where north sea and the English channel meet. There are beautiful places to attract such
as castles, beautiful architectures, a pier and museums. This is thriving town to live, work and
visit that have been recognised for running the all functions and activities. The people who wants
to spend their holidays is looking towards other places so they started to visit other country and
destination that make feel them more comfortable and happy. To run a business of tourism there
is need to have proper knowledge and skills which can be used to influence the people and
managing the higher performance.
As whole world is facing the problem of Pandemic (Covid-19) that is serious problem for
all due to which death cases are increasing day by day. To recovery and keeping healthy the
people, government has declared to stop the transportation and other businesses for some time.
This has affected the business negatively as no one is allowed to go outside due to which sales
and productivity is reduced. The report is about tourism and its related activities that covred in
two parts. The Part 1 involves benefits of strategic planning for tourism in coastal area and
importance of collaborative planning in tourism. The part 2 covers tourism strategy with clear
vision and objectives, implementation and how strategies going to benefits the resident and
visitors socially.
Part 1
Examine the benefits of strategic planning for tourism in a coastal area and illustrate that with an
example of a destination that has benefited from it.
Strategic planning is defined as process of establishing a direction and documenting a
direction of any businesses whether small and large. This plan gives a place to record, mission,
vision, and values that should be followed by management by formulating plans. This is
important for organization to understand the requirement of their customers and introduce the
products and services accordingly. This bring the changes and challenges at the workplace by

conducting the environment analysis and supports to attain the business goals. Coastal area
means interface and transition area between land and sea involving large inland lakes. These are
diverse in function and form and determining the strict spatial boundaries. Strategic planning for
tourism in coastal area means where different types of destination places are provided to their
guests and making feel good to ktheir customers. The word 'coastal zone' refers to the geographic
area specified by the enabling laws for coastal zone management, whereas the term 'coastal area'
refers to the geographic area along the coast that has not yet been defined as a zone for analysis
purpose. Earlier emphasis to coastal zone management in the United States gave rise to the term
"coastal zone management (McGraw-Hill Education. Dzwigol, 2020)."
The travel agency has tie up with number of restaurants and destination planning which
suggest to their guest about different planning and managing the higher performance. The
organization should be analysis the needs and requirement of their customers which can help to
grow the business and managing the higher productivity.
Walmer Castle & Garden is the best destination in deal own that is situated in England,
UK. This is kind of fort garden where number of people comes to visit and feel the good which
can help to influence the number of people and develop the business productivity. Tourism is
important sector that increases economies of scale as import and export of goods and services.
This mainly contribute in improving the economy by paying the taxes that amount is used to
infrastructure development, public transport services, and road airways which can be used to
develop the business performance and productivity. Foreigners are also engaged with
stakeholders of big industry, that supports to create investment opportunity. The benefits of
strategic planning are defined below:
Increasing the number of visitors – This is the major benefits of tourism destination
which is liking by number of people for the purpose of managing the higher productivity. In
Coastal tourism areas, people are started to visit the different places and share their feedback
with others which can help to develop the performance. Walmer Castle & Gardens is the well-
known and attractive place where people visit and feel good (Ansoff, and et.al., 2019).
Enhancing capacity by using digital photo and video monitoring – Digital photo or
video monitoring is the effective planning which can be used to develop the business
