INTRODUCTIONLaw of license is defined as the permission which is given to any of the specific person todo something. It is necessary to obtained license because it does allow to do any of those workwhich is against the law. In simple words, license is a legal permission to do something byobtaining legal rights from the authorised department. The chosen organisation for the particularproject is Imperial Guest House which is one of the small and medium size hotel industries. Inaddition the areas which will be covered within the file will be related with different types oflicensed premisses, difference between personal an premise license. There will also be thediscussion on procedures for licences application. In addition, various other sections will also becovered in which it will relate towards the roles and responsibilities associated with themanagement of licensed premises. Also evaluation will be don on the impact of food safety andhygiene legislation.TASK A1.1 Discuss the different types of licensed premisesAny of the land, building, apartment, store and even grounds which is used for any of thespecific purpose is known as licensed premises. There are various types of license premiseswhich is explained in detail below:Hotels: Whenever there is the requirement of opening any of the new hotel it is necessarythat hotel must try to have a overview that what are those area of laws which can beapplied on them. Some of the laws and licences which is required to be obtained isrelated with food hygiene and fire regulation. In this case, if hotel fails to fulfil any of theterm and condition then they will fall under the category of breach of laws and dutieswhich has been assigned to them. Here, action can be taken either through the process ofcivil law or criminal law (Hotels Laws UK, 2018). In short, it is necessary for any of thehotel to take business license to run any of the hotel.Restaurants: The law of license says that obtaining the license is most and when itcomes to restaurants, business license is required to be obtained. The license helpsdirectly to the owner that how they are required to operate and what are the laws which isneeded to be followed.1
