the initial stages of good and services. Supply chain management is a process of planning and
managing activities that involved in terms of procurement and sourcing. Sometimes, it including
the collaboration, coordination with channel partners in which supplies good and services
(Heizer, Render. and Munson, 2016). It is integrated part of overall business that help for
analysed demand management across manufacturing company. Operation management is
another process to design, control and execute the operations that easily convert resources into
the desirable goods. It also implemented in the business strategy of organization. In this report, it
will discuss about the concepts and theories which applicable in the logistics and supply
management. it will describe that how considered the social, economic and environmental
consideration of organization. This report will choose two different area in managing operation,
logistics and supply chain such as Logistics Mix or managing quality (Prajogo, Oke. and
Olhager, 2016).

Overview of company:
Jaguar Land Rover is based on the British multinational Automotive company with its
headquarters in Whitley, United Kingdom. It has a subsidiary of Tata Motors since they found it
form the acquisition of Jaguar limited in 2008 (Baker, Croucher. and Rushton, 2017). The Tata
group established the jaguar company and it was used as holding business for the acquisition
from ford of the business’s enhancement. In 2011, the manufacture company has that it would be
investing 355 million for consecution of new engine in different areas. Currently, the
organization sells vehicles under within Land Rover Marques and jaguar. It has launched
different type of products in market place such as Rover Discovery, Rover velar, Rover Sport
and Discovery sport. Jaguar land rover is mainly focused on the six different facilities in terms of
research and development, manufacturing and vehicle assembly. On yearly basis it always
invested total £1,411 million in research development because they are mainly focused on
designing new model so as many customers attract towards new products in global marketplace

what type of evaluation help to improve overall services. Jaguar is basically choosing the
comprehensive approach in term of business strategy and management that makes members of
organization which participate with basic aim of improvement its overall functionality.
Automobile quality management is based on the ISO standards to concern about different
processes (Alicke, Rexhausen. and Seyfert,2017). There are various types of automobile
manufacturing countries drastically reduced their activities because it has generated the
significant issues related the quality. On the other hand, jaguar use an appropriate Quality
standard concept which significantly progress in global world. In competitive environment, it is
considered the quality principles and containing the specific requirements and supplier that have
a make effort to fulfil. Sometimes, it is generating complicated issues when supplier work with

In area of managing quality of Jaguar Automotive industry, it can be used quality

way, Jaguar has performed different operations and functions. it must aware about the
opportunities and requirement for improvement (PapaFernandes.and et.al., 2017). It also
determined the improvement goals which organise to meet expectation of Jaguar. Sometimes, the
automotive company is also providing training to the employee so as they can easily understand
demand of customer and develop a new product according as per requirement. In this way,
Jaguar will easily track all records where it is necessary to improvement in the logistics, supply
chain management (Baker, Croucher. and Rushton, 2017).
Jaguar will use total quality management tool in their business to improve quality which
specify the areas that has been identified. It can be divided into “Soft” and “Hard” element
applicable for quality improvement. The soft element is based on the human and its development
culture activities to understand about the concept of total quality management. it is mainly

hand, Hard element is the best practices which performed improvement process.

the quality of automotive company standards. It is the best practises to gain the manufacturing
quality towards the operations, supply chain improvement of Jaguar.
Logistic Mix:
It is defined the logistics of physical items that usually involve the integration of information
flow, production, inventory, warehousing, material handling etc. these are different types of
processes perform to manage overall business (Prajogo, Oke. and Olhager, 2016). In global
market, it is becoming important part of Jaguar automotive company which lead to identify
consumer needs, competitive advantage and trade of liberalization. Furthermore, it has
significantly changed the concern of customer since they are demanding in terms of quality, time
in order to fulfilment of business requirement in proper manner.
A channel of distribution occurs in between one or more organization, who participate in the

increase innovations as well as engineering skills to assure the Future of the Britain's
manufacturing competition . Engineering business like jaguar land rover requires the education
system so that it can deliver a high quality,as it recommanded that up to date technical education
allows so that the young people able to join the business as well as supply chain with the relevant
skills. It will enhance to develop knowledge of electronics as well as computer aided designs. It
will also assist to encourage and inspire to consider a career within engineering as well as

like jaguar are using the supply chain management for efficient functioning of the organisations.
Smooth flow of the organisations required that supply chain management considers all the
