They give advertisement in newspaper, on the website of company, social networking sites because today students are more active on sites such as, LinkedIn. Strength of giving advertisement is that best candidate can be selected for organisation out of large number of applicants. Weakness is that in this huge investment is required and it create confusion. All are given equal and fair treatment and there is nodiscriminationamong employees.Bygiving compensationemployeesare satisfied, andtheycomplete their work on time which helps organisation in earning profit (Rubel, and et.al., 2018). Employees of Asda company feelmotivatedwhenthey receivebenefits.Theyare satisfied and work efficiently toachievegoalsofthe organisation. Effectiveness of HRM Practices in achieving organisational profit and productivity HRM practices helps in achieving organisational profit as when training is given to the employees of ASDA company so that they can develop their skills and focus on their work. When employees know how to use machines they will complete their work on time and this will save time of company and hence lead to increase productivity. When workers will do their work efficiently and effectively this will lead to increase in profit of company(Riana, and et.al., 2020). HRM practices are important for every organisation because it helps in boosting morale of workers and motivate them. Compensation is given on the basis of knowledge and work they are doing, there is no discrimination on the basis of gender, caste, religion etc. Training is given to employees to improve their skills and knowledge, they learn new things which will be
beneficial for organisation. This will help in increasing profit of company by efficiently using resources and productivity is also increased. Importance of employee relations in influencing HRM decision-making Employee relation should be good in an organisation to build good reputation in market. If employer is interacting with employees properly they will feel motivated and satisfied, this will help in increasing productivity of company. Workers need healthy and safe working environment where they can work and all colleagues behave properly. Employee relation means to maintain good relationship between employees and management. When there are good relationsbetween employer and worker it will help in taking decisions quickly and efficiently. It is essential for HR department to maintain good relations with employees to retain them, motivate and influence them to achieve organisational goals. If there is strong employee relation then more people want to join the company and healthy environment leads to increase in profit and attracting more customers(Scavarda and et.al., 2019). In ASDA company there is good relation between employee and employer, this increases profit of company and productivity. Workers are listening to guidelines given by managers and work according to that. Both employer and employee have some expectations from each other which they want top be fulfil like, management want employees to work hard and accomplish goals of company. Workers want safe and healthy working culture in which there is no discrimination ,all are treated equally, proper incentives, participation in decision making, satisfaction and suggestions should be taken(Steffensen Jr and et.al., 2019). Healthy relationship creates positive environment in the organisation and build strong relation among employees. It is difficult for managers to manage all the activities alone, they need someone's help or suggestions to take better decisions. When there is good relation between management and workers then managers can ask them for new ideas or solution for any problem. As new and talented people are recruited so they have better knowledge regarding current trends and practices in market. If employer is not interacting with workers then they will not give suggestions or ideas for benefit of company. Worker should be given rights to participate in decision making process to gain their trust, value their opinion, satisfy them(Stewart and Brown, 2019).
Healthy and good relationship among employer and employee help HR department in distributing work, management can take good decisions when they take advice from various people present in company. Work is divided among team members so it become easy for HR manager to take good decisions for the benefit of employees as well for organisation. In Asda company human resource managers distribute work and some decision-making power is given to employees so that they are satisfied and good relations are maintained to attract customers as well as new candidates who want to work with organisation. In company there are female employees also so it is responsibility of management team to teach workers that every member should be given fair and equal opportunity to share their views and this will help in help HRM decision making(Tang and et.al., 2018). Key aspects of employment legislation in organisation There are various laws that are applied by ASDA company for satisfaction of employer as well as employee. Laws, rules and regulations are important in organisation to make workers feel comfortable and safe while working in organisation. This act is made to encourage healthy and safe culture within the company in UK. This act defines duties and responsibilities of employer towards employees, persons present in company. It is the responsibility of managers to take care of health and welfare of workers. In ASDA company employees feel comfortable and safe because laws are followed by firm. When organisations are applying laws more people want toworkwithcompanyascompanyishavinggoodimageorreputationinthemarket (Nwachukwu and Chladková, 2017). Equality act, 2010 According to this act there should be no discrimination on the basis of age, gender, race, caste, religion, sex, disability or any other issue at the workplace. All the employees should be given equal and fair treatment to motivate or influence workers to focus on achieving targets of company.
