INTRODUTION
Personal development refers to the development of the kills in ourself. A person try to
develop the interpersonal skills that can be used by them in their personal life activities. On the
other side professional development refers to the development of skills that can be used in the
professional carriers and it can include the communication, management other professional
skills.
This report will cover the study of Marriott international which is the American
Multinational Hospitality organizations and also having the presence in UK. They are providing
luxury services related to the accommodation and logistics faculties to their customers.
This report will explain importance of on- going professional development and self
learning to enhancing the carrier opportunities for the employees. It will assist the own skills and
different learning approaches. This report will design the professional development plan for
skills improvement and in the end of this report will cover the range of services industry and
transferable skills for the Job applications.

On going professional development can provide many benefits to stakeholders of the
Marriott international and here are some of them-
Employees carrier development
Employees are the most important part of the company, and they are responsible to run
day to day activities for the company. From the on- going development can benefited to the
employees improve their performance thorough the training and employees will be more skilful,
and it can help them in the carrier development (Gorbunova and Sabirova., 2017).
benefits to investors
Investors who are important stakeholders will also get the benefits of the on – going
professional development. If employees of the company will be more productive, and they will
give their best then the investors of the Marriott international will get the benefits of their
investment in the company because company will perform better in their industry which means
better return on the investment to their shareholder and investors.
