1.1 Skills and attributes analysis required by HR professionals
A famous British multinational retailer named as TESCO PLC, which was found in the
year of 1919 by Jack Cohen and it is having it's headquarter at Hertfordshire, London, England,
United Kingdom. Along with this, it is a private retailer who is performing at international
retailing sector. Company's HR department basically promotes equality and diversity, employee
engagement and safety/health with the help of integration, training and development and
performance management (Cole, 2018). This helps them in enhancing employees' skills and
attributes. Away with this, Tesco has also taken into consideration of continuous improvement
procedures and plans for staff member's continuous professional development.

2.1 Introduction of Organisation
TESCO PLC, has helped employees through offering them regular training sessions on
updates made by company and report is going to cover importance of Continuous Professional
Development for both employees and company itself.
2.2 Analysis of CPD
Individual Learning:
Learning is a self-directed, work-based process leading to increased adaptive capacity’
(CIPD). Working and learning are interconnected, Observing employees of TESCO PLC at

work, getting involved in daily activities, Customer Interactions, Working under the shadow of
experienced staff, these all are key sources of learning at work (Abel-Smith, 2018).
Organizational Learning:
Employee Involvement could result in healthy solution to common business problems of
TESCO PLC, it would not only help in finding effective problems but would also result in
achieving employee satisfaction at workplace, although these are very difficult tasks to achieve
as managers are under constant pressure to make quick and effective decisions and do not have
time for reflection, discussion and feedback.
2.3 Explain / Introduce HPW organisation is and give examples
High performance working within the business organisation like TESCO PLC is said to
be general approach to managing company's aim to stimulate more effective employee
involvement and commitment in order to achieve high levels of performance.
2.4. Evaluation
Collaborative working would help TESCO PLC in meeting all the different range of
goals and objectives in a short span. This will help firm in meeting various objectives like
competitive advantages and so on in specified time frame (Cole, 2018).
Conclusion
With the help of above mentioned report, it is being concluded that HR manager plays a
crucial role for a business organisation and it is important for firm to keep on making different
range of policies and programs so that they could gain maximum benefits from their upgraded
skills and attributes.
Recommendation
It is recommended that, keep on making alterations among training sessions and other
areas would help TESCO in meeting all the goals in a short span.
