INTRODUCTIONFrom the report management and operation clears some important key featurefor the management. The different role of a leader and manager is an important aspectof operation and management. Some theories and models, like contingency and thesituational theories, are considered in the M&S Ltd management. The key approaches to operations management and the role that leaders andmanagers play are an important use for M&S. They are focused on organization, onachievement and control. Also, it can be taking decision related to finance and budgetallocation in the organisation (Bazaar, Jarvis and Shefali, 2011). The economicenvironment can influence the decision of the managers and leaders in the context ofthe operation. Also, the operation and management are important to achieveorganisational objectives.P 1 Define and compare the different roles and characteristics of a leader and manager for M&S.For every organisation moving towards success, their leaders and managersthey are the key persons, in particular for or the organisation like M&S Ltd which have ahuge number of employees.
