Introduction
Mental stress is said to be the main hurdle in the life of student and there are multiple
reason linked with it such as finance, coursework, sleep disorder, health issues and many others.
The project will outline the structure of case study report with the topic on “Poor stress
management in the life of students” (Tollefson and et. al., 2018). The report will demonstrate the
ways in which the stress can be reduced and bring happiness in the life of students. Also, there
are various recommendations which are beneficial for the students in order to relieve the
pressure.

Poor stress management can affect the life and mental state of students in their learning,
health and well-being. Discuss the effective means of managing stress, feeling anxious, or
nervous for university students.
For most people, mental health issues take place when they are at school or university that is why
mental health is a main issue for all the learners in their learning and achievement. University
stress impact the students of all backgrounds and stress tends to lead to major issues such as
anxiety, depression, headaches and health issues (Nguyen-Feng, Romano and Frazier, 2019).
Academic performance can cause stress levels to rise and when students go to university their
whole life change. One of the main reason of stress in life of students are academic pressure and
its performance which can badly affect mental health. If such stress is not managed then it will
lead to bring anxiety and depression that declines their health, life and mental state of students.
Stress has huge impact on all human beings and mainly in life of student This stress can be
utilised for good and to live a better life. That is why, students should learn how to deal with
stress and such situations in proper way and stress has wide effects on mood, behaviour and
emotion (Delgado, Toukonen and Wheeler, 2018).
