Currently VUISC is working for a client name yes chemist pty ltd. They have asked
VUISC to manage the implementation of SAP system. The project was already started and
the progress report needs to be shared with the client.

Risk and Issues
Schedules are constructed to set a base which must be followed throughout the
lifecycle. Schedule changes can result many issues in a project. These project schedule is
gone through some changes as the duration of Develop project plan is altered from 2 days to a
weak. This change can have a huge impact on the project as upcoming activities will be also delayed.
Impacts of delay:
One of the main hindrance in handling projects is delay. Two types of delays adversely
affects project outcome. They are time overrun and budget overrun. The following
paragraphs will describe time overrun and cost overrun in details:
Time overrun: It is defined as delivering task after completion of contract period. Excusable
and non-excusable delays are the two types of time delays that might affect the project. As a
result, extension time will be claimed that would decrease goodwill of the project as well as
project executives in the market. A certificate of Non-completion can be issued and project
executives will have to pay for the liquated damages.
Cost overrun: This situation arises in a project where budget exceeds the amount that was
planned. It can occur due to inaccurate estimation of cost at the beginning of the project. The
faults lies with project persons that are involved in estimating budget. As a result of this
situation, the enterprise that has undertaken the project will be at loss.
The other factors that have impact on project are:
 Dispute between two parties that is the client and the service provider can cause delay in
project. Disputes might occur due to failure of payment by clients. This might affect normal
working of the project.
 Total abandonment of project will lead to a complete halt. It would adversely affect
execution of the project. The cost that was already incurred will be wasted. In adverse cases,
the enterprise can be sealed due to huge amount of debts.
