INTRODUCTION
Woking in partnership in health and social care is related with working of two or more
than two firms to provide services to individuals. One of the main reason why entities work in
partnership is to get maximum benefit from the resources available and convert into the benefits
of society (Glasby and Dickinson, 2014). Service and quality that partnership firms offer to the
service users is affected by various factors such as the relations between two firms, attitudes of
employees and many more. When two organisation maintain good relations then it boost up the
confidence of service users and this also provide competitive benefit to firm. Philosophy of
working in partnership in health and social care and its various models is all given in this report.
Further, barriers that arise when two firms work with each other and outcomes of working in
partnership for organisations and professionals is also include in this.

Q1) Philosophy of working in partnership in social and health care
When two or more than two firms start working together in partnership then various
element are there which affect their functioning. It is very important that proper communication
should be among there so they can provide featured and quality services to its clients. Mr. John
aged 55 years is suffering from Alzheimer disease. Main philosophies that require to by health
and social care homes while provide services to Mr. John are as follows:
 Empowerment: This philosophy is related with provide opportunity to service user to opt
the services he want. Feature of this is that it reduce dependency of service user on other
and at the same time increase effectiveness of decision making process. Proper
communication between two parties should be there as this remove confusion.
 Make informed decisions: Every enterprise involve in partnership require to make
informed decision. Any changes done by one entity should be communicate with another
firm. With this both parties can maintain good relations and can provide better services to
its customers.
 Autonomy: As per this philosophy both the firms include in partnership should have the
freedom to take informed decision (Munn-Giddings and Winter, 2013). For example:
both entities should have autonomy to take decision related with hire new employees,
provide training to them and promote them.
