INTRODUCTION
Working with and leading people is important element which consist essential role in
organisation. It assists to understand effectiveness of human to achieve goals of enterprise.
Further, it provides knowledge for company that how to deal with businesses activities. As
results, company can achieve more profits and positive results from the actions of enterprise
systems. This is done through systematic process which consist recruitment and selection of
employees to feel appropriate job in the businesses (Bannon, O’Hare and Gormley, 2015).
Present report is based on Thomas cook group which is the largest and oldest organization of
airline. They provide travelling and accommodation services to customers in the world. In
addition to this, they offer luxury services and online booking facilities in various parts of
nations. The cited firm understand customers needs and expectations towards the products/
services of company and provide accordingly. Along with this, they continuously innovate their
services so that organization can attract potential customers easily (About Thomas Cook, 2016).
In this report covers, documentation for manager to select and recruit new member in the
business. Furthermore, report assess impact of legal, regulatory and ethical consideration which
are needed for recruitment and selection process (Hacker, 2015). Moreover, it includes various
techniques which can be follow company in selection process for airline. In addition to this, it
covers skills and attributes which are needed for leadership. Along with this, report analysis
difference between management and leadership. Beside this, report assess benefits of team
working in the airline industry and their effectiveness towards the recent goals of enterprise. At
last, it covers factors that consider in planning and monitoring in work assessment for new
member (Penfold, 2015).

Job analysis must be conduct in very systematic manner with appropriate management
and practices. This is plan for select and recruit cabin crew member to fulfil objectives of
businesses. It can be done through follow stages which are as follows:
Planning for job analysis: When organization wants to recruit and select new member in
business, they need to plan for it. In respect to this, manager gathering data from various
resources such as magazines, newspapers and advertisement. Further, they identify
objectives to feel vacant job in their business. Thus, they find purpose to support business
results (Douglas, 2014). In this aspect, cabin crew member support it from the highest
level of management which helps to achieve business outcomes.
Preparing and introducing the job analysis: After planning for job analysis, business
prepare begins by identifying jobs for their business for selecting cabin crew member. In
respect to this, the firm analysed hourly jobs, clerical jobs and jobs in one division. In this

Purpose of the job: To make effective functioning within the business environment to create
good relationship with the organization members.
Responsibilities: Share ideas with other members, demonstrate effective planning for the
company, implementation of the plan, maintenance resources of the company and deliver
effective services.
Economic conditions: Salary towards the member commencement according to staff
capabilities and qualifications at the post.
Qualifications: 0 to 3 yrs. Experience required.

In order to follow recruitment and selection process of airline industry there are various
factors which create impact on the business operations. These process is going by some rules and
legal implications. In this context, awareness of rules and regulation helps to business to
minimize risks, job posting and checking job offers, etc. Legal, regulatory and ethical
considerations consist major role in cited firm (Ulrich, 2013). Further, it creates major impact on
business operations when enterprise operate functions at global level. In this context, below are
the impact of legal, regulatory and ethical consideration in process of recruitment and selection
process: Impact of Employment Protection Act 1978: This act is define as term of the contract of
employment and provide parties names which include in businesses. In addition to this, it
also determines commencement of job, title of job, terms of payment and working hours,

law which give direction to Thomas cook group for treat equal male and female. It
protects to them both directly and indirectly from discrimination. Further, it consists that
anyone qualified for the job of organization whether the person is men or women,
business should recruit them. As results, it creates positive impact on employees who

interview. In addition to this, enterprise need to provide appropriate place for fill vacant

as follows: Selecting recruitment and selection panels: Human resource department of Thomas

recruitment and selecting panels are select by director of chosen business. In order to
select candidate, cited firm has determines various techniques. In this context, includes
