INTRODUCTION
In every organisation, workforce requires to work in the most effective and appropriate
manner which leads to accomplishment of objectives in specified time period. Leader of
company put efforts to motivate their staff members to complete their daily targets in complete
manner. Active participation of employees is reflected as basic phenomena which need to be
considered for better ideas and decision making. In this assignment, the company preferred is
United Parcel Services which is UK based firm that provides parcel services in different places
whether nationally or internationally. Further, whole project discuss about the documentation
required for selecting new employees, impact of legal, ethical and restrictive issues at fulfilling
vacant job position, skill attributes needed, techniques used in motivating employees and success
factor for whole assessment process. Organisation needs to adopt all the practices used in
leadership style in order to provide employees adequate training in order to meet the challenges
of external environment (Fraley and et. al., 2011).
TASK 1
1.1 Documentation requirement for selecting and recruiting new member of staff
Recruitment can be described as a process in which pool of applicant apply for vacant job
position in particular organisation. On the basis of selection process, HR manager requires to
select the best candidate from the available alternatives that's why, this process is considered as
positive as well as negative from company and individual point of view. At the time of using this
approach, some documents must be considered that help in fulfilling task. Selection of candidate
is done on the basis of the documents provided by the candidate. Assortment documentation
makes the work easy as shortlisting of candidates is done and interview is planned according to
that only.
In case of UPS company, there is vacant position for operation and distribution
department and documents require under it are stated below: -
JOB DESCRIPTION
Title of profile:- Marketing Manager for operation and
distribution Department
Reporting to: Human Resource Manager
Duties: Manage entire distribution process.

they complete their work effectively.

MBA with specialisation in operation
and distribution Marketing
Abilities: Training and developing skill

Leadership abilities
Knowledge of operation techniques.
Experience Require the experiences of 3 years
Method of recruitment: company can select the individuals on the basis external source like
social media, internet and newspaper which provide information related to vacant position along
with eligibility on official website. In order to select individuals, interviews have been conducted
by manager in different question asked in following manner:-

Q1. Why do you want to start your career from operation department?
Q2. Tell me about different methods of training program given to employees?
Q3. Where do you find yourself after 5 years?
Q4. Why should we select you and other qualities require?

There are different activities that are used at the time of recruitment and selection of
individuals. Further, there are different laws but the most important consider as equality act,
2010 in which it is utmost duty of manager to behave in equal manner with all the individuals so
