INTRODUCTION
The main aim of this report is to make learner more confident towards the effective
management of personal and professional skill in order to achieve personal as well as career
goals. Learning is a continuous process which enhances the level of existing skill set and also
learns new skill set. These skills help the personal as well as professional growth. Various
learning methods are to be used but the self managed learning method are the best way of
learning method. The present case study is based on management of personal and professional
development; National health care services case study is taken in to consideration. Self managed
learning process involves the clear goal setting, personal orientation achievements goals. Verbal
and non verbal communication also makes an effective impact on the personal growth as well as
on professional growth it reflects presentation skills. Develop plan needs to be review the current
performance, future needs and it leads the opportunities and threats to career progression also be
effectively evaluated for the purpose of continuous improvement in the skill set.
TASK 1
1.1 Comparing personal values and principles with the working principles in health and
social care
Personal and cultural values are the critical component in the social and health care
organization. Cultural values make an impact on the workers in the health care. Personal values
and principles are derives the bright future in terms of the enhancement in the skill set that helps
in improvement in the working style (Bayar, 2014). Personal values are based on beliefs and
preferences of people. Belief and preferences of a person are shaped on the basis of culture
which is follows by a person. Person behavior and interest influence the priorities of things.
Personal values are changed over a person life span. There is a little bit difference between
support in working health and social care with respect to personal values and principles.
Principles of personal values in health and care society are originate from the concept of equality
and love for humanity. We can say that both the set of principles and values support each other.
Personal values always guided the people to help the needy people in social and health care
services. It is the form of unconditional care of people with any return expectations from them. It

affects professionalism positively by behaving in proper manner and shows concern towards
patients.
1.2 Assessing the influencing factors of personal culture and experience in supporting to health
and social care services.
Culture and experience of a person makes a larger impact on the user services in the social
and health care service industry (Dixon, Yssel, McConnell, and Hardin, 2014). Culture and
experience includes family standards and societal values of a person in the society and personal
beliefs. Education level and standard of living also influence the creativity in social and health
services that makes effective to the patients. It social and health care worker provides high
quality of social and health services to a person that reflects the worker behavior which one is
influence by the culture and experience of a worker. It also helps in to understand the emotions
and problems of the patients. Values and principles that needs to be followed by the social and
health care professionals in order to promotes the equal rights to all patients who have need some
treatment. They give more attention towards the patients in order to fulfill their expectations.
1.3 Discussing about the changes in the personal values makes impact on work in health
and social care
People those are working in social and health care services various new developments makes
an impact on the work. Various changes like legislative changes, political changes and research
leads the changes in the certain treatments and priorities which one is set by the professional that
helps in accomplishments of set targets (Forte, and Flores, 2014). The new development is basis
on the legislation, target, priorities and research policies. That rules enables the care worker to
take responsibility for providing the well fare treatment to people. All these innovative changes
makes the work easiest way and easy to handle it. Technological changes in provides efficient
instruments and equipments in order to fulfill the customer expectations. High technical services
help in reducing the error and increase the work efficiency to provide better services to patients.
The rights of vulnerable people, physical disability, sex and color are protected by the anti
discrimination act. Through this social and health care industry can get best result by the use of
updated technology along with save numerous live as well.

2.1 Assessing the requirement of current skill, ability and learning style in social and health care
industry
There are four main types of health care management skills
1. Interpersonal skill- It includes interpersonal, affective and emotional skills that requires at
work place.
a. Leadership skills- It is an ability to inspire and motivates others towards the shared goal.
b. Relationship skills- It is ability to self conscious in order to understand others emotions
and feelings and facilitate communication in order to effective collaborate with the team
members.
c. Helping and delegating- Ability to establish and promote relations and helping others to
get the opportunity to grow and have an ability to lead the group members.
2. Information management- It is a kind of perceptual skill that enables us to collect,
organize and interpret the information (Grima-Farrell, 2015).
a. Creativity and change management- It is an ability to adopt changes and dealing with
new situations along with defining new strategies and solutions.
b. Information gathering- The ability to understand and awareness about the organizational
event and to identify the sources of information.
3. Analytical skills- Analytical skill includes the planning, organizing, quantitative data
analysis and technology management.
a. Planning- It is the development of long term plans along with prediction of future.
b. Quantitative analysis- it is the analytical tools and techniques for functional disciplines
like finance, marketing and operation management in social and health care sector.
c. Technology management- ability to create, use and maintain technology, equipment and
processes.

the 360 degree feedbacks from the colleagues and managers to review the performance of an

organization and measures the attitude towards the work during the development plan. Self
evaluation derives the self confidence to evaluate the performance this ability is gained from
attending the workshop for development plans. It also evaluates the development plan regarding
the perfect interaction maintenance with the other employees at work place. It also evaluates the
knowledge regarding to time management it considers under the short term set goals. Regular
basis analysis in the improvement those are required to deal with the critical situations.
2.4 Evaluation the effectiveness of development plan as a health care professional
As per situation, I am able to meet the project deadlines with the help of time
management skill in an effective manner. The daily activities are offering to the target customers
by the social and health care services along with the effective maintaince of perfect team
working. It maintains the perfect interaction with the other employees during the execution of
daily execution of activities. I am also able to control my patience level during the completion of
goal with the help of effective time management techniques and follows the priority basis task
management in an effective manner (Forte, and Flores, 2014).
Setting learning goals- Once a person is ready to learn, learner needs to set the goal and
set the strategies through which goals can be effectively achieved.
Engaging in learning process- Self managed learning needs to engage in the learning
process. Without engaging the learning process it is difficult to implement various learning
techniques. Managing a large team to deliver the excellent health and the social care offers. To
use the time management skill while working with team.

3.1 Explaining the different types of nature of professionals relationship in health and social
care
Professional relationship is uses by the social and health care staff members to
maintain the relationship with their colleagues, clients and family members. It helps in to
make effective coordination between the operational activities for smooth running in an
organization (Cox, Bachkirova, and Clutterbuck, eds., 2014).

1. It maintains the relationship with service user in an equality and value maintained by the
user.
2. The effective engagement by the staff members to coworkers like doctors and staff
members they all are working towards to create well fare in society.
3. It also promotes the safe work place along with effective coordination with the human
resource team, management team and project related team.
3.2 Evaluating the factors of personal effectiveness in promoting and supporting the rights of
individual
Personal effectiveness are the most important factor for promoting the individual rights
and equal respects. This plan are to be made by the social and health care organization to offer
the equal respect to service provider that promotes organization goodwill. It confidently
maintained by the use ethical codes (Dixon, Yssel, McConnell, and Hardin, 2014).
Trustworthiness are also provide by the organization by offering value services to patients. It
enables the organization to maintain a strong collaboration with them in meeting the individual
rights that helps the organization towards the completion of business goal.
3.3 Resolve issues encountered in professional relationships
Professional relationship is main part of the career improvement. Professional
relationship is the interaction between two persons who observe the limits and boundaries of the
professional standard and governance ethics (Bauer, 2010). There are many issues in any
professional sector. According to the given case scenario, There are some ways which can be
used in respect of resolving the issues in the health and care Organization. They are given
below-
1. There should be acknowledge and communication between health and care team. If there
will be communication between the peoples of the health and career team then we can
resolve the problem which is create in relationships
2. Identify the effective action for resolve the issues which is create in health and care
service.
3. There should be the communication and appropriate language for resolve the problem of
health and care service.

4. If there will the appropriate reason for issues then can resolve the problem of health and
care services.
5. Co-ordination also must in all parties of the health and care team peoples then can
remove the conflicts of the professional relationship between health and care team.
6. Knowledge about the health services can remove the problem of the professional
relationship.
7. Be clear out about what happing in the health and care organisation (Brody and Hadar,
2011).

4.1 Legal consideration in use of ICT impact on health and social care
The legal consideration is based on to have effective communication within the health
and social care. It acquire the satisfaction and the position among the existing employees and
new employees. When the effectual communication is accepted then the employees can gain
trust and confidence (Hadar and Brody, 2013). Actually legal consideration is properly use in
the same manner then both parties can co-ordinate with each other. Legal consideration always
encourages the understanding and co-ordination. The natural worth is most important in the
health and social care.
There are many people who belongs from different backgrounds and their consideration
thought is also different according to the culture. And their language and position in the society
is also different. If the consideration and co-ordination is better and effective then the old
employees can influence the new employees of the health and care services. The skills of the
new employees of the health and social care peoples is also most important. Face to face
discussion in the meeting is also important in the health and social care services who provide the
health care to all people of the social organization. They are the legal consideration of the health
and social care organization.

4.2 Impact of own work as compare to other work
Work is the activity of the task performed through physical and mental ability to archive
the goal of the organisation. There are different ways to compare the work of one persons with
the other one at the same time there are some impact of the works:
1. Own works are autonomous in nature and have the choice freedom to do, while the other
works are under the influence by the other parties who is exercising the activity on behalf
of other persons (Hamza, 2010).
2. Another important think is that the cost and expenses are also in our control. but in the
case of the other it is costly because of the training and development of new person.
3. Own works is comfortable to take actions into own when it is necessary. While in the
case of the other it is difficult to take action because it is in the other hands or authority.
4. It help to establish independence to think ideas through on their own but while because
the goals are already pre decided in the other work.
5. Lack of knowledge can damage the plan,but other works are requires proper skill to
perform the task.
4.3 Own role in minimising barriers to effective teamwork in health and social care
The effective teamwork is most important and beneficial for the health and social care
organization. With the help of the impressive and effective teamwork the manager of the
organization can keep communication and understanding among the people. But there are some
barriers which a manager need to identify that and after the identification they can remove the
barriers.
If the communication will be effective then a manager can remove and minimize the
barriers of the health and social care organization (McNiff, 2010).
A effective teamwork must be co-coordinating if the co-ordination will be operate then a
manager can minimize the barriers of the health and care organization.
If there understands in a health and social care service then a manager able to provide the
work among the people of the organization. In that case a manager can remove and minimize the
risk and barriers of the health and social care service.

If there will be positive thinking in the all employees of the health service then a health
manager can minimize the barriers in the health and social care organization.
4.4 Improve personal contribution to the collective effectiveness of a team
Personal teamwork is the most important in the collective effectiveness of a team. A
effective team of the organization can achieve the goal and objective of the organization. And
can improve the health and social care organization. Personal contribution can improve the
interest and motivation of the organization employees. To keep the interesting activity and
knowledge in the effective teamwork. For the effectiveness of the team a manager must identify
the own strength and weaknesses after identification a manager should remove the weaknesses
for the effective team work.
To build own communication skills for the effectiveness of the team. Actually the good
communication is the key of effective team. There are many things which is useful for the
improvement in the personal contribution (Olsen, 2015). If the manager have good listening
power and he is able to speaking after that a manager can easily communicate with their
employees. If a manager able to encouraging to their new and old employees then a manager can
make a effective team for the health and social care organization. They all are points which are
necessary for improvement personal contribution in the collective effectiveness of the team.
CONCLUSION
Form the above stated report, it can be concluded that effective coordination will be
required between the personal principles and values in supporting with the work culture.
Personal beliefs and attitude influence the working ability of employees. Great personal beliefs
minimize the barriers in effective team work. Different nature of relationship is follow in the
organization that promotes the equality by behavior or respect.
