INTRODUCTIONPersonal and Professional development is the process of managing the learning throughout thecareer. These report highlights the comparison between value and principle of Personal andpersonal health care which include showing how personal culture and experience can influencethe role and how new development can affect the work. This report than shows the SWOT andholistic development plan of my working. Further these report shows professional relationshipand also shows the different benefit of promoting and supporting. In the end report showsdifferent aspect of my work when working in a team dynamic.TASK 11.1 Compare the personal values with principles of support working in health care and socialcare.Being human, We all have our personal values, ethics, beliefs and attitude that we used todevelop during our upbringing. We view the world in the way of our family, friends andcommunity has contributed in our sense in our life cycle whereas values are certain standards,and qualities that a person or community hold as high regard. These value play important role inthe decision making process. Fundamental norms that guide for the behaviour of evaluation of aparticular person or group is known as principle.My personal values are mostly influenced by my family. My family has influenced manyof my decision in my life. My culture made be more dignified towards my work. Friends playsan important role in identifying the goals and objective in my life (Cottrell, 2015).The main principles of support in health and social system is to ensure support to theservice user and must respect there rights and personality. As many services user comes fromdifferent culture so it is the responsibility of the care worker to respect there culture and beliefs.The care workers maintain the records of the patient so it important for the care worker tomaintain the confidentiality of the data.The similarity between my personal values and the principle is that respect of thedifferent culture and dignity towards my work. I respect each and every person having same ordifferent culture. Being a care assistant I maintain confidentiality of data that shows dignitytowards my work.Personal values are mainly the beliefs that majorly influence by the internal environmentof the individual. Be a care assistant I have to follow the strict rules and regulation for the3

completion of my responsibility but as my own personal values the decision making process willbe affected by many family members (Duboust and Knight, 2018). Having the personal value of respecting everyone helps in maintaining the healthyrelationship with my patient. This makes the patient trust on me and will tell me about therepersonal issues. Due to this I get the better opportunity provide better service to the patient.Dignity toward my works as separate identity and the care assistant makes be me moreresponsible. Being a care assistant sometimes making the decision to face the serious illness can be turnedout to complicated. Some times there is the disagreement between our personal values and theprinciple of the support in health care service then bioethics committee will help. I will take thedecision which is important at that particular moment of time.1.2 Evaluate the influence of the personal culture and experience in user of service and in healthcare setting.Personal culture refers to the powerful tool which distinguish the organisation andindividual to there connecting work. Every member in the organisation bring there excellentideas, perspectives and the culture which drive the organisation culture.Personal culture affects the decision making process. Due to the religion and familyculture there comes the biasness in making the decision. Due to having of different culture wealready have made out the several perceptions regarding the certain matters (Zepeda, 2019).My personal experience was a little difficult as being an introvert to the people for thefirst time. The communication between me and my client was bit difficult and turned out to dissatisfactory. Communication problem as a major issue that I too deal with. So it is important tohave the proper communication with your colleagues and client.Because of having the dis satisfactory client at the work place, I asked my colleagues ofhaving the better communication skills so that they can positively put there work before theclient (Ulvik and Lunenberg, 2017).1.3 What is the impact of the changes of personal values and new development in your workThe change in the personal values have the greater impact on the work. Any kind of thepositive or negative change have the greater impact on the workplace. As there is change inbehaviour, beliefs, emotional and technological changes which have the greater impact in healthcare and social care.4
