INTRODUCTIONOrganisational behaviour refers to the behaviour of employees inside the organisation thathow they treat to each other(DeVellis,2016). How employees interact with the groups ofindividuals. It is study of an individuals act in the organisation. This report is based on BBCorganisation, Full name of BBC is British Broadcasting Corporation. It is the largest broadcastingorganisation in the world on the bases of employees. It was founded in 1922 and situated inLondon, UK. This report includes culture politics and power and their influence on the BBCorganisation. Motivation affects an individual and a team for achieving a goal, role of content andprocess theory to achieve goal of BBC and how this organisation can improve the motivation level,importance of different type of teams in the organisation, models of team development, role ofperformance theory to achieve the goal. MAIN BODYTASK-1a. Organisational culture and political behaviour of managers in BBC company by applying handy'smodel of organisational culture. organisational culture of BBC- Organisational culture contributes in psychological and socialenvironment in the business.An organisation culture of BBC includes all the expectations of anorganisation, goals and the philosophy of the BBC(Herzberg, 2017). A positive culture in theorganisation make positive environment in BBC and it motivates the employees for work well inthe organisation.Expert of organisational behaviour Charles Handy designed a model which setsout four basic type which includes power culture, role culture, task culture, person culture and theyall are describing here-Power culture- According to this law of handy all the employees and the mangers of BBCare judged on the basis of what they are archiving rather than their how they are achieving thegoals or from which techniques and tools. So according to this approach company should focus onthe goals only not about the process of achieving the gaols, what was the ways' tool and techniquesbehind achieving the goals does not matter.Role culture- As its name showing the definition and the amening of this term culture are

based on the roles. All the employees and mangers should know about their roles andresponsibilities in the company. This is because of the clarity about the work. So employees of BBCcan work with the better understanding.Task culture- task culture is the term about work together and achieve the task goals andsuccess by the employees and managers of BBC. Because task is an important thing so the need ofthe power should come from the team. There are many functional group or area exist in thecompany they all work together. All the units works together every day with the purpose of achievethe task. Person culture-it is a culture to describe an individuals culture in BBC. It is the state whereevery person find out the unique and superior quality inside him is called person culture. Everyperson wants to play a lead role in an organisation. this is the state where an individual recognisethe quality and ability and efficiency to do work. It is state where an individual gets self motivation.Political behaviour of managers in BBC- All the employees sometime plays a political rolein company(Herzberg, 2017). Because of the competition and injustice behaviour the plays a doleof politician where they compete each other with the different purpose. Some employees alwaysdoes back biting of others. Because of their nature of the jealousy with another employee of BBC.So all the employees of BBC behave like politician. This type of behaviour has seen in the privateorganisation like BBC. According to Charles handy the political behaviour of managers inorganisation impact to the employees both in positive or negative way. In BBC the managers canuse their power and politics in positive manner to increase the work efficiency of the employeesbecause negative use of politics create negative environment in the organisation. TASK 2a Content of theory BBC companyMaslow's theoryThe theory needs to five figures base on psychological wants and provides safety, love andrelation with company. This theory of basic needs are employee needs for human survival. Thesepsychological wants are most important of all needs.Safety and psychological wants are fulfilled, both of relation and love attraction with employeescome into BBC company. Employees are unsatisfied when a employee will close bonding withfriends, groups etc.(Wilson, 2017).
