INTRODUCTION
In present time, change and transformation is important for getting success in business.
Changes are helpful in terms of bringing innovative products and services at market place. It also
provides an edge to organization over its competitors which is crucial to ensure long term
sustainability in market place (Rye, 2018). The present report is based on Jobs international
which has been started as a job consultancy. The company is headquartered in UK and was
founded in the year of 1998 by Mr Jacobs. However, it started operations at small scale but
currently owns nine regional offices across UK and also has some overseas branches. It was
started with an aim to provide international job to the people of India and has association with
several public as well as private companies of UK for helping them to get competent and skillful
candidate. The report is based on the case study as per which it includes necessary suggestions
for Mr Jacobs for enhancement of business. Apart from this, it includes a detailed action plan
which is suggested by the consultant along with the ways which will help to deal with obstacles
in an efficient manner. Lastly, it comprises appropriate recommendations for business owner so
that company can grow & succeed in future period of time.
Main Body
1.A)Recommendations to Mr Jacob
Mr Jacobs is stakeholder and managing director of Jobs international ltd which was intuited
by him as a consultancy for help the job seekers. Mr Jacobs entered into the market of India in
1998 through established its first office in Delhi. It is stated that organization has gained
exponential success resulted currently has nine regional offices across the UK. Main aim of
company is to help those people of India who wish to get an international job and make their
career in overseas countries (Iveroth, 2016). It is also helping companies of UK by meeting with
their man power requirement. In simple words, Job international is working as a mediator
between job seekers and companies. In the given scenario, it is analyzed that organizational
structure of organization has been changes over the period of time. Initially, Mr Jacobs owns the
position of managing director and worked on the position for nearly three years. And, JI is
working within different countries so Mr Jacobs found it difficult to manage the whole business

alone. Resulted, an English man who was also the deputy managing director of organization has
been appointed as new MD. He put his significant efforts for managing organization in
successful manner but has to leave the company due to some personal reasons. After then, a
female who was also relative of Mr Jacobs has been appointed as new MD but she was not
handled the operations successfully. During her work tenure, organization was not receiving
desired outcomes. Due to this, Mr Jacobs decided to undertake a readiness audit by appointing a
consultant who provided several recommendations so that business entity can work in an
efficient manner. These recommendations are mentioned as under:
It is stated that company is primarily deal with Indian people through its branch within
country. So, there is requirement to appoint such a person who is familiar with the culture of
nation and able to handle the business operations in successful manner. But, the both MD who
were appointed by Mr Jacobs were foreigners. However, first MD was able to manage business
activities in an efficient manner due to have familiarity with the culture of nation. On other side,
the other MD who was a female based on UK could not handle the company in significant
manner. Therefore, to handle work force efficiently first it is vital to have familiarity with their
culture, values and more (Angélil and Hebel, 2016). It is suggested that Mr Jacobs need to hire a
competent Indian manager to handle operations within country. The Indian manager will be able
put positive impressions over work force which will minimize internal conflicts & ambiguity
within organization. It is analyzed that employees also feel comfortable and connected while
working under a manager belong from their own country.
There is another suggestion for improvement in organizational structure of business entity. In
the present scenario, organization has a flat structure where employees can directly interact with
managers. It sometimes creates ambiguity among employees regarding their role and
responsibilities. Therefore, it is suggested that they need to adopt hierarchical organizational
structure where everything is predefined. Employees are clear in terms of their role &
responsibility as well as reporting manager. In given scenario, female MD is likely to interact
with employees directly and believe in providing limited supervision to work force. But, in
Indian culture individuals are in the habit of get command from their senior and seek for
complete supervision & guidance. Thus, Mr Jacobs need to make appropriate changes in their
existing organizational structure and pattern to ensure success of business entity.
