INTRODUCTIONIn this modern era, people are more concern about their health and safety. For this,several health and social care organisations provide their own contribution to maximise livingabilities of an individual. In this employees of health care sector needs to analyse issues andproblems of their clients to provide them effective services and treatment properly. In thisprocedure, a effective communication play a most important role that helps to develop positiverelation with management, patients, families and peers. Through this, an individual can easilyanalyse proper information on the based of their requirement and need. In health and social caresector, communication play a most important role to monitor someone's health issues, problemsand requirement. In different organisations, management conducts training session to maximisecommunication skills of their employees (Glasby and Dickinson, 2014). Main objective of thisprocedure is to build positive interaction with others to provide them appropriate services easily.This project is determine theories of communication, Methods of dealing with inappropriateinterpersonal communication between individual in health and social care settings,communication process that influenced by values and culture factors and impact of legislation,charter and codes of practices on effective communication. It also includes organisational systemand policies in promoting good communication and Ways of improving the communicationprocess. At last it determine Uses and benefits of ICT software packages to support work inhealth and social care as well as legal consideration in the use of ICT.TASK 11.1 Relevant theories of communication to health and social care context In health and social care sector, communication play a most important role. Through thishealth care employees can easily analyse their patient's need and want to provide themappropriate services easily (Brach and et. al., 2012). There are different theories ofcommunication are given below - Humanistic theory (Maslow's need Hierarchy)- In health and social care sector, thistheory determine several aspects that are based on human requirement and need. As in the caseof Estrella, she wants a positive conversation with someone who can talk about her day to dayactivities. Person who suffering from dementia is required proper treatment and care. In this process, she can take proper treatmentfrom health care executive. Social – For a disable person, it is require to get proper love and care from each everyone. In this process, it is require to provide them proper attention without any partiality tomaximise their health level easily (Ginter, Duncan and Swayne, 2014). Self Actualisation – Family and friends of a person are play a most important in anindividual's life. It is their responsibility to make them feel worthful to improve theirhealth by such self actualization. Behaviourist Approach: Here approach of Skinner's is analysed in present task which isrecognised as well known behaviourist. The basic theory which is provided by this behaviouristincludes the idea about the fact that learning is known as the function of change in overtbehaviour. The theory which is provided by this behaviourist is known as operant conditioning. The concept of this theory provides the information about that organism can emitresponses, instead of eliciting response due to external stimulus. Cognitive theories – This theory is basically used to analyse individual's incredibility forprocessing information in effective manner. Cognitive learning is basically used to analysingmental process of a person. As per the case of Norah, who is 75 years old widow and sufferingfrom Dementia. She is the kind of individual who wants her breakfast in her bed when she awakein morning. So for this, it is require for her care taker and family to accomplish her need to makeher happy in each situation. Through this, they can make her feel happy by providing whatevershe want. Social Learning theory- Each and every individual is learn different ideas, creativethought and many other things from social activities. In the case of Aelfric, who has beendiagnosed with dementia is find difficulty to participate in different social activities. For hisbetter treatment, it is require to make him attend in such social act, so he can become morecomfortable in such environment and gets cured easily.
