Present study will be focused on Pizza Express company. It is largest the Chinese owned restaurant which is having 500+ restaurant across world. This study emphasized on customers that are targeted by company and internal and external factors that affect functioning of business (Hollebeek, Juric, and Tang, 2017). It includes role of employee within organization and importance of training and development in an organization. MAIN BODY Size, structure, mission, vision and goals of Pizza Express Pizza Express is operating in restaurant sector and is considered to be largest chain of pizza restaurants in United Kingdom, India, China and Hong Kong. This was founded in 1965 by Peter Boizot and then sold to Hony Capital a private entity of China in 2014. It was marked on London Stock exchange in 1993 at the time when they are opened their franchise all across UK. As Employees in Pizza Express are divided according to their functions that they are performing in the company (Panwar and et. al., 2016). They are grouped according to product, geographical location etc. this structure is mostly followed by large sized organization. Vision of Pizza Express is to become retailer on which people can trust and people like to come and shop with it and the company want to provide best experience to employees. Its main goal is to satisfy needs and wants of customers by providing them best quality product and services. Target customers of an organization Pizza Express is targeting young generations who used to prefer quickly served delicious pizza as the first choice for their meal. It satisfy needs and wants of customers who need delivery of pizza for their starving hunger. By giving them discount to regular customers that help in enhancing growth for the future. It is important in providing various aspect that will be helpful for company to attract more customers. It is essential in satisfying needs and wants of customers that help in growth and bring more opportunities to business. There are different segments that will affect various aspects in Pizza Express by satisfying needs and wants of customers that is 1
beneficial for the future course of action. As consumers are king of the market so Pizza Express have to manufacture product accordingly that will help in satisfying needs and demands of consumers. It is important for identifying customer that will help in sale and growth of business in the market. On the other hand, there are competitors in market that create more competition so Pizza Express have to target that group which is more suitable for it (Wallerstein and et. al., 2015). Therefore, targeting is based upon different variables that is driven to satisfy demands and needs of consumer. SWOT analysis of Pizza Express It is a tool that is used in identifying internal factors that affect functioning of the company. Through this strength, weakness, opportunities and threat is determined by company so that it will help in gaining larger marker share. Strength The largest strength of Pizza Express is to deliver a wide rang of pizza's with several innovations in services. It provides satisfaction to consumers by providing quality product and services that will be useful for business in the future. It is investing lot of money in interior of the restaurant and distribution mechanism which will be helpful for the future. In this highly talented kitchen and management staff is required for providing different aspect in the company. Weakness Biggest weakness is that attrition rate is high as compared to other competitors in the market. This will leadto slow growth in business. Doing business outsides is a weakness as it is important in doing operation outside as through which various aspect is taken into consideration. Threat Competitors are threat for Pizza Express as this will reducing sales and growth for employees. As there role is to manage all activities that will provide benefit to employees and attracting new customers in business. Its duty is to select best talent for Pizza Express that will be helpful for the future. It is also responsible in providing training to employees that are efficient in gaining success in the future. It also enhances performance of employees for the future. Maintaining good working condition will be helpful as various aspect can be obtained from business that will be enhancing growth and productivity of employees (Adhikari and et. al.,2016). It is important in maintaining employee relation that will be helpful as this increase growth for future purpose.
