INTRODUCTION
In the report employee knowledge is discussed,skills and behavior by HR professional of
the organization is described. Roles of HR manager is described, swot analysis, personal
development plan, difference between organizational and individual learning, training and
development. Sainsbury is a public limited company which was founded in 1869 by John James
Sainsbury. Its headquarter are in London, England, UK. It products are supermarket,
convenience shop, superstore.
TASK-1
Employee knowledge
Employee knowledge can be defined as learning skills and qualities of the workers and
their behavior in the workplace. Workplace knowledge is a system that helps in an organization
to update business knowledge. It also tells information about employees and helps in effective
workplace knowledge and helps in reducing the cost of inefficiency by making organization
knowledge more available and accurate. It is important for organizations to improve knowledge
and skills of employees. Workers should improve their skills for development and future growth
of company. It helps organization in importing their skills and helps in increase of overall
productivity of company (Bastida, Marimonand Carreras, 2018).
HR professional help company in getting right person for the vacant position. The
company has to make decisions regarding recruiting and selecting best candidate for the
organization. HR plays an important role in every company because they help in selecting
appropriate candidate for the employee. Human resource department manage all the activities in
the company and they recruit people for the vacant position. If employee is knowledgeable then
company will require less investment because they do not have to paid money for giving training
to them. Employees should be knowledgeable because every company want experience people
so that they can earn more profit and increase productivity of organization.
Skills of HR professional

There are many skills that are required in HR are, good communication skills,
interpersonal skills, teamwork skills , ability to handle all the situations, manage all the activities,
arrange all the other departments. Human resource is one of the important department that helps
other areas in taking decisions and make plans for future growth of the organization. Behavior
of the HR should be good and they should give respect to all the employees and divide
responsibility according to the specialization. They are also deciding payroll of all the workers in
the company and give guidelines to them for how to work and focus on achieving goals and
objectives. In Sainsbury company (Stewart and Brown, 2019).
Most of the HR managers have to deal with different situations in the organization such
as discrimination, there should be equality between employees and they should treat every
employee with respect and they should give their best to achieve goals and objectives of the
organization. This helps company in making right decision to select employees and provide them
training so that workers can work efficiently. The skills that are required in HR professional are,
communication skills, administrative expert, Knowledge of HRM and expertise, advising, HRIS
system, recruitment and selection, pro activity.
Roles of HR professional
Human resource department plays a crucial role in development of company and they
recruit best and appropriate candidate for the organization and they will give their best to achieve
goals and objectives of company. In Sainsbury company managers give advertisement for vacant
position and take interviews of selected candidates and choose best employee for the company.
They make policies and procedures, rules and regulations of the company. They maintain all the
record of employees, appraise performance of employees and decide their payroll. They manage
all the activities of the company and they take necessary decisions which are for the benefit of
organization and employees (Stanton and et.al., 2017).
SWOT ANALYSIS
Strengths - It refers to the positive points that helps in getting better opportunity than
others. It can be defined as qualities and skills that an individual person has and it helps in better
future growth. My strength is that my presentation skills are good which help me in attracting
interviewer when giving presentation. In organizations this will help me in getting promotion
