INTRODUCTION
Organization depends upon the ability to continuously expand and for improving the
collective and individual capabilities. Developing employee means increasing the performance
capacity of organization. Working together it means that team should apply the individual
perspectives, skills and experiences to solve out the complex problems. This report explain about
the appropriate professional knowledge, skills and behaviours along with this analyse about the
professional development plan. Furthermore, explain about the difference between
organizational and individual learning, training and developments. This report also analyse the
ne4ed for continuous learning professional development to sustainable business. Moreover,
understanding about HPW contributes to employee engagement and competitive advantage and
different approaches to performance management and demonstrate with giving the example that
can support the high performance culture and commitment.

TASK 1
P1. Knowledge, skills and behaviours that are required by HR professionals
HR professional is the employee who hired to be the advocate of both company and
workforces. HR is the one with whom established, develops, maintained and manage the
organization policies for ensuing about the benefits of both the employer and the employees
along with this some of the best practices.
Professional knowledge
Here are the some professional knowledge that are must be required by the HR in
organization:-
Customer and personal services:-
HR of Costa coffee should know about their customer and process of providing the
customer along with personal services while through which they can have their more customer
(Sharma and Tewari, 2018). That seems to be easier for making their more developments and
that could also lead to standards services and satisfaction of customer. In knowing more about
the customer is most important things for the HR of organization.
Law and government:-

regulations, agency rules and some other democratic political process. This process and some
legal rules must be know about the legal and some executive orders.
Education and training:-
In organization HR must know about the various training methods while through which
they can easily make their employee for working with better strategies. Methods for curriculum
and training design, teaching more about the different things and the measurements of training
will be effective.
Professional Skills
Here are some skills that are required by the HR in organization:
Technology:-
HR need to become more advance in technology as they are required to make their
business for working with the technology. HR in Costa coffee are willing and ability to utilize
the existing technology and seek out the new solution that might be helpful in organization
(Flavin, 2018). They should also know about the software and some other details about the
technology while by making their use they can easily help their organization for being
developed.
Active listening:-
HR in organization must be active listening while by this they can easily listen to their
employee about their problems and some other issues. That could also be seems to be more
important for them in making their goals to be complete and keep them more active in
organization.
Employee relation:-
For keeping the business more successful HR need to also maintain the employee relation
through which they can have their more development. Being more able to identify and resolve
employee concerns as they are developed creates a more satisfying work environment for
employee (Jacobs, 2017). Along with this HR must also know how to maintain the proper
relation with employee in organization.
Behaviour of HR professional seems to be more credible, being courages, future oriented
and enquiring thinker and also being a person who understand and care about the organization.

M1. Personal reflection
Knowledge, skills and behaviours are to be required for being professional such as
communication, leadership and interpersonal skills through which that could be help me for
developing. While having this that could keep me for completing the goals and making my skills
to be more developed from which I can get more knowledge and gain more skills. I have
observed my strength in working with team and positive attitude that could keep me for having
more developments and that might be helpful in taking more decisions. Weaknesses I have in
while someone is speaking I speak a lot in between (Mazzotti And et.al.,2018). It means that I do
not patience level and need to make more developed in communication skills and information
technology. I have also work for becoming more professional through which I can easily make
my goals to be more developed and through which I can develop my skills more and that could
be more important for me in developing skills for being professional. I have also improved job
performance and some skilled that based on training I have improved them my taking online
courses and have also done job assignments. Threat I have observed as while due to having
competitive working environment and too many troubled economy. Along with due to having
more increasing in advance technology that could also make me more fear of doing anything.
From this I have much fear that my professional that are lacking behind might be not so
complete and I have also tried to make them proper improvements.

Costa coffee is coffee house chain and subsidiary of the Coca-cola company. Costa
coffee had expanded their business worldwide while having their parent company Coco-cola
company. While by giving the Coca-cola strong coffee platform across the various parts of the
countries and have also opened many coffee stores in various countries. Company have such
products such as Hot drinks, cold drinks, sweet snacks, cakes and pastries and reusable coffee.
The first Costa have been opened in UK and become the first coffee shop worldwide to start
delivering coffee drones to their customer. Company have also started their business online
through which they have set up their high range of customer and make their loyal customer from
which they are rating high as compare to some other coffee company. The company has plans to
expand the largest hospitals universities and Costa express machines are being located in Shell
stations. In some countries it has become a major operator of petrol station stores along with this
having Costa express machines installed.
P3. The differences between organizational and individual learning, training and development.
Individual learning seems to be more important for organization learning because all the
organization are composed of individual and also make their independent by having particular
individual but not all independent. Individual learning has their main focused on learning their
skills and make their more goals to be complete (Demircioglu and Audretsch, 2017). While by
learning individual employee can learn some new skills or ideas, performance and productivity
seems to be improved. In order for having maximize the benefits of individual learning in

organization. In Costa coffee employee have their individual learning programme for their
employee through which they can easily make their skills or create some news ideas for making
their organization developments. On other hand, Starbucks provide less individual learning to
their employee from which they cannot make their organization developed as Costa coffee
employee had developed. The employee working in organization should know about their skills
and for this they need to learn more new things. Otherwise, that skills leaves with the worker and
some employees try to move towards some other jobs.
Organization learning is related to process of both reflection and outcome for learning
that will occur. It is most important that the organization ensures that the knowledge grained
from the learning new skills and innovative things that seems to be better within transferred in
organization (Secundo, Schiuma and Passiante, 2017). As individual can leave while by taking
some knowledge but the organizational learning cannot be easily leaved by learning sometime
new wt their workplace. Organization learning in Costa coffee need to understand while by
creating a learning culture within organization.
Training and development improve the employee performance and employee satisfaction
and morale at their workplace. While Starbucks make their employee with having only limited
number of training program and on other hand, Costa coffee have specially training program for

different from the individual and organizational learning that could make only employee perfect
in skills, but training and development make the employee for working with effectively in
manner and make their goals to be more complete.

knowledge ongoing basis. This can be also come in the form of formal course and taking some
social leaning. It might be also involves the self-assertive and taking on challenges. It could be
also maintained by providing more training and development through which organization can
keep their developing more goals (Macke and Genari,2019). Costa coffee also try to keep their
employee in learning more about the various thing through which they can come to know about
the various strategies. In organization people need to learn new knowledge or skills in order for

Starbucks hired less educated employee as they think that educated employee cannot work in
their organization, and they cannot make their training while by giving them some training
program as Costa coffee provides their employees.

Learning cycle theories its matter of using emphasis that fits best with the given
challenges or situation and person learning style preferences.
Diverging:-
Costa coffee employee are being more able to lose from things with various ways and
have their own perspective. In this they usually try to make their tending for gathering

People are required to give clear explanation rather than being more practical
opportunities. Costa coffee employee have more excel for understanding wide-ranging of

financial services, consumer services and some other services for having their customer
satisfaction. As well, they must need to also improve the organizational performance in both the
ways short term or long term basis (Zanin, Comuzzi and Costantini,2019). Nowadays
organization also need to have their solid performance over very short term periods and maintain
the consistent performance over their long term period in order for being more sustain in this
competition market. While by keeping the high performance working employee can easily have
their own development and have their less competitive advantage.
