EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This study is based on Embraer case in which it launched E2 project or E2 jet that was
very advanced. This study shows some challenges that it faced regarding this E2 jet or project
and ways in which problems affected overall productivity and performance. Supply chain plays a
vital role in aircraft industry as it enables staff in performing their functions with effectiveness.
Quality and testing also play a vital role as it also enables managers to increase customers'
satisfaction. This study shows some challenges that Embraer faced such as: death of engineers,
missing body parts of aircraft. Missing body parts of aircraft can cause number of new problems
like crash of jet, loss of people and poor image of company.
Further, it shows success of this company as how it was awarded for E2 jets. Bumpiness
management and cooperation are two main keys of success of organisations. By managing
organisational functions, manager can improve performance and can take competitive
advantages. Situation analysis also plays a vital role as it enables companies in knowing about
their current business situation and accordingly, they can make changes for improvement.
Implementation of strategies as per the current situation made Embraer able in solving problems
that it was facing. Concepts as well as importance of total quality management and six sigma
have discussed in this study as quality management tools. Quality management is also the main
key to success and for becoming the market leaders, companies need to focus on improving
quality of products and services that it deliver to customers.

INTRODUCTION
Challenges in the business environment have a significant impact on the overall
productivity of an organization to produce better results in the industry. These issues are
considered as not suitable for the organization to enhance their services and achieve better
success in the competitive business environment. Embraer is a popular Brazilian aerospace
manufacturer which produces various aeronautical services such as commercial, military,
executive etc. air-crafts. The organization is facing several issues including the collaboration of
teams, supply chain administration, technology, production etc. which had a significant influence
on the strategic management and policy formation of the business (Huang and et.al., 2022).
These issues have created difficulties for the business to operate in the business environment
successfully. Changes in the business environment due to these issues are having a negative
influence on the overall management of organization.
E2 project is the new aircraft which were developed by the business which were
becoming popular in the industry. There were different efforts which were put by the teams in
order to ensure the success of this venture which is designed for improving the popularity of the
organization among the overall industry. This project was completed under the time and budget
yet it achieved success and was awarded with many certifications. The current report will explain
description of the situation in the case, Problem statement & plan of analysis to identify and
review techniques and resources with the help of different concepts, models and theories that are
relevant to the case study, analysis & findings of the current positions which are faced by
Embraer and proposed solutions for the problems by generating different ideas and alternatives
for the issues faced.
