INTRODUCTION
Employability skills refers to the skills and abilities of an person that makes him eligible
for the vacant jobs in various companies. These are the special skills which are also known as
foundation abilities. Basically these are the skills and attitudes that enable a person in getting
along with other people and accomplish the designated task in a set period of time.
Employability or soft skills act as a foundation for an individual career (Andrews and Russell,
2012). They enable a person in performing task with more efficiency and effectiveness. Also it
reduces cost for organisation as they do not have to train individual if they already have set of
abilities. This report is based on analysing various skills that are required in health and social
care organisation such as, Wellington hospital. This project will cover various aspect that will be
required to gain more skills and abilities to achieve career goals.

motivated. For every accomplishment, there is requirement of

interesting and motivate employees, Job enrichment and job
enlargement. In the former one, the roles and responsibilities of an
individual are increases while keeping status same. While in later one,
employee is promoted with increase in responsibilities and roles.
Basically there is requirement of job enrichment that will increase
interest in work and boost motivation level to a higher level.

always greets people with a smile.
ï‚· Clarity and concision: I state every issues and information in a right
manner that provides clarity and concision to the paitent6s and they are
able to understand it.

three way communication as I know what I have to do.

ï‚· Second, The higher authorities need to involve nurses and other staff in
decision making as to enhance their leadership qualities and skills.
ï‚· Third, Taking regular training and development sessions will assure that
all the task are completed in a desired way.
ï‚· Fourth, Improving the hierarchy order will assist in improving the
administration skills of employees.
There are various strategies which will be used for ensuring that all the solution

for its other departments to function in a right manner and ensure that all

and leadership as people will be forced to take various initiative to
