Kilimall E-commerce WebsiteKilimall store is online E-commerce website offering provisions of all home used appliances,food stuffs, supermarkets, furniture’s and gardening’s, toiletries, fashions for men and women,baby stuffs sports and all what we use at home. The main aim of Kilimall is to allow its clientsor purchasers to access the products of their choice on the website and if it is available andpleases them they go ahead and buy it. In Kilimall clients or customers are able to view productswith their indicated prices, products that are on offer, the newest and cheapest in the market, alsoone can be able to view the quality and quantity of the available goods depending on one desireand choice. For one to be able to purchase after adding goods to the shopping cart and placing anorder one have to first register to the system if one does not have an account with the Kilimall.Kilimall is used for offering provisions of different types of links among the clients and themanufacturers of good where they help in selling the products in the website and much moremarketing the products as they act as advertising media or channel to the manufacturers and alsoto themselves. Kilimall website is composed of the backend and the front-end. The backend hasbeen known for allowing the company in uploading its contents and much more helping them inmanagement of the products and that is viewing what the customer account entails and thenumber of orders made. The other part is the Frontend which is used by the customers ininteracting with websites and is used by them in sending what they need or they have ordered.The main aim of this report is doing an analyses of usability features that are there on the frontend which is used by the customer to interact with in Kilimall Website. This research willcomprise of several functions of specified parts of the website and the way some particular tasksare performed by some selected users of Kilimall E-commerce Website. The results of theanalysis is performed on the basis how visible, consistent, efficient and easy it is to use andnavigate across the Kilimall E-commerce website. On the basis of participant’s feedback thereport will provide some recommendations that will help in improving the usability of KilimallE-commerce website.Use CaseKilimall being an E-commerce online website is a platform where visitors interacts with it byordering to help in boosting the number of sales. Kilimall E-commerce website is known forproviding functionalities which are very important such as registration of customers, customerLogin, viewing the products, products selected and placing these orders to the shopping cart.Kilimall has allowed many customers in creating their wish list and gift cards to their friends.Kilimall E-commerce Website offers provision for product detailed descriptions for each andevery product which makes the customer to understand the content before they purchase or add itto the cart or wish list. In Kilimall website one for one to successfully purchase an item one hasto login in to the system and when he or she is logged in one can be able keep track of all statusof the orders, viewing the status and history of previous completed orders, adding and editing oreven removing the product they don’t want of they had selected, they can also update theirdetails like adding a profile photo and lastly is the functionality of able to navigate acrossdifferent webpages in Kilimall. The payment modes that are provided are Mpesa, PayPal, creditcards applications. Immediately one places an order of the product selected they can pay usingany of the above mentioned modes of payment.
