INTRODUCTIONIn the modern environment it is important for the companies to generate new competitiveemployees to accomplish the organisation goals. Human resource departments plays very crucialrole in the company. This department hired most talented employees and change their personalskills into professional skills. Its main objective to increase the productivity level of theemployees. This department gives motivation or appreciation to do the work more efficiently. Itcan be done through given proper training to the employees. In this present report will focus onemployees' performance. It will explain about the various learning methods in the organisationprovided by HR manger. Furthermore, it will explain about plan and design of training anddevelopment plans. In this present report Hilton hotel is being taken into action. It is the wellknown hotel in the world. Its provide many luxurious accommodation facilities to the customers.TASK 11.1 Comparison of different learning styles.Learning styles can be explained as key factor of the employees through which they cangive better performance to companies goals. Learning styles are very different from each other. Itdepends upon the skills and knowledge of the employee(Knowles, Holton III, and Swanson,2014.). There are various learning styles through which employees increase their competenciestowards company goals. There are various learning styles like Honey & Mumford(1986), kolb'sstyle. Honey & Mumford explains four learning styles are : 1.Theorist: in this learning HR gives training on the basis of theory behind action plans.Means they explain the detail explanation involves in the particular action. These type oflearning helps Hilton workers to perform better and helps to understand the basicknowledge.2.Pragmatist: Honey & Mumford explains about this learning style. This learning stylegives the technique through which employees of Hilton hotel can reduce the risk factorand adopt new method of working. This learning style gives advantage to use innovativeway to manage the work properly.3.Reflector: In this next learning style in this style employees get practical knowledgefrom the actual learning which gives lots of learning style to work. In this method oflearning helps employees to observe the things and learn the practical knowledge. 1

4.Activist: In this learning style employees can learn through working. In this style newemployees are getting huge information about the actual working(Armstrong, and Taylor,2014.). Manager should trained employees through different activities like groupdiscussion, puzzles, role-play. These types of activities create new productiveenvironment which gives motivation to do the work. Employees of Hilton hotel needs to adopt Activist learning style to manage thethings in productive manner(Brewster, and Hegewisch, 2017.). Through this learning styles newideas are come out for the benefit of the company image. Apart from this, Kolb's learningmethods is also worthwhile to increasing the productive level of employees. It involves varioussteps.Reflective observation: In this learning styles employee get to learn that before makingany plan it needs to identify the environment because before making any conclusionemployee should review the plans. It helps to minimize the future risk.Abstract conceptualisation: In this learning style employee learn from the actualsituations. This learning styles create practical learning through which new employeeslearns a lot. Active experimentation: In this learning style, manager of the Hilton hotel needs tomake employees understand the real task so that employees understand the actual processand increase their own productivity.Concrete experience: In this learning style employees learn from the experience andcreate new ideas of making work more productive.1.2 Learning curves and the importance of learning transferLearning curve is the in which employee understand the own strength and weaknessescomparatively from others. It helps to give new suggestion and ideas to create the individualstrength. It obtains some set of objective and goals through which employees of Hilton achievetheir short goals.
