Training and development has become one of the significant
part in the organization. it is carried out in the service
industry to enhance the skills and performance of the
staff. In case of the Hilton hotel, through training only, the
staff will be able to provide proper services to the guest.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF TRAINING
Training type is decided according to the nature of the
work in Hilton hotel. Different types of training are as
follows:

Training – it can be defined as the procedure
through which the staff of the Hilton hotel develop
their existing skill in the specific field. It is carried

individual gain knowledge regarding applying the
theories. It is beneficial for the overall growth of
the person.

hotel, even the time period is determined
for it.
It is the long term process as well as it has
no end. It can be carried out in whole life.
It is provided to the staff by Hilton to
enhance their skill and increase revenue of
the company.
Development is done to meet the future
aspects of the individual. The main focus in
on the future.
Concentration of the training is towards the
task performed by the staff in the Hilton
hotel.
On the other hand, development is done for
achieving the better carrier growth and life
objectives.
It is provided to make the employee
competent in the organization.
It is provided so that the employee can
responds to the future issues effectively.
