INTRODUCTION
In this documentation, this assignment review about different kinds of HRM purpose and
the function of HRM which can assist the business to proper planning and resourcing in an
organisation in effective manner. Moreover, this study also define about strength and weakness
of various recruitment and selection process of the company effectively. This assignment also
describe about importance of employee relationship within the enterprise in terms of assistance
in decision-making process of HRM department. Apart from it, this assignment also refer to
identification of employment legislation and their impact on the decision-making process of
HRM department. This analysis also defines about illustration of job advertisement of career
planner in specific way.

P.1. Explain the purpose and the function of HRM, applicable to workforce planning and
resourcing for Woodhill college
Human resource management approaches are helpful in order to strategic and integrated
schemes of enterprise so that development can be done in proper and effective manner. The
human resource manager need to perform various business activities are as hiring, managing a
bringing development in the activities of organization (Bakker, 2011). The Woodhill college
needs to have employees so that teaching vacancies in the firm can get occupied. The college is
looking for the high skilled teacher who needs to be perfect teaching the qualitative aspects so
that student can enhance their learning. In this manner it can be true to said that human resource
management is the core party who is taking various initiative so that firm can able to have skilled
and competitive staff. The main objective behind this is to selecting the right person for the right
place so that business activities can be undertaken in the effective manner. In this manner the
human resource manager of the firm need to perform various function on the following manner
as are- Human resources and planning: HRM department of the company effectively identify
the proper vacant post at the workplace and according to them make development in
some of their areas so that desired post could be fulfilled by business professionals within
the organisation effectively (Ageron, Gunasekaran and Spalanzani, 2012). HRM
department of the company have main purpose of planning of human resourcing in the
company in appropriate form so that working performance of the company could be

improved efficiently. They conduct relevant recruitment and selection process at the
workplace so that skilled and talented candidates could be hired for the business in order
to fulfilment the purpose and functioning of HRM department in the enterprise. Learning and development: Under this it is essential to provide the proper leaning
facilities to the individual of the firm so that they undertake the business activities in the
appropriate manner. With the help of facilitating the proper learning facility they are able
to provide the effective training to staff so that they can conduct their activities expertise
mode.
Performance management: With the help of this the capabilities of the individual can be
determined. It is important to check that whether the performance of the employees are
up to the mark or not (Sparrow, 2010). The Woodhill college is focusing over the 360
degree feedback method in order to determine the performance of employees. This is one
of the effective method in order to determine the overall efficiencies to the enterprise.

IN case of Woodhill collage recruitment and selection process they provide efficient
human resourcing to the organisation in order to fulfil their requirement post of teaching staff in
the organisation effectively. There might be different-different kinds of requirement process be
applied on the organisation in terms of fulfilment of their organisational goals and objectives in
efficient manner, HR manager of Woodhill collage need implement effective requirement
process at the workplace so that, their desired post in the firm could be fulfil sufficiently.
