RESEARCH TITLE'' To investigate the importance of motivation in retaining employees for long time in thebusiness enterprise: A study of Hilton hotel”INTRODUCTIONIn every business organisation, employees plays a very crucial role because entirebusiness operation is largely depends upon their performance and efficiency. In the absence ofhuman resource, no business enterprise can survive its business activities and function. Thus, it isvery important for management to develop such working practice and policies through whichemployees can highly motivate and encourage for effective performance (Yousaf, Yang andSanders, 2015). With help of high employee's motivation, firm can increase its productivity andprofitability. The following research project have main aim is to understand the importance ofmotivation in retaining employees within corporation. Therefore, in this report, various kinds ofmotivation strategies and techniques has been systematically addressed with respect of Hiltonhotel. TASK 11.1 Research project outline specificationsIn the present era, the entire business operation and profitability is largely depends upponthe employee's performance as they are very important part of the organisation. In order to retainthe human resource within organisation, it is very important for organisation to develop suchkind of motivation practices and policies through which employees can highly motivate andencourage (Paharia, 2013). If corporation effectively satisfy employees then they can retain inthe firm for long time but if they are not satisfied and motivated they can leave the firm. Thus,firm should provide effective tools and techniques for employees motivation. The Hilton hotel isfamous hotel in the UK which is facing issue related to employees turn over so it required toadopt such effective motivation strategy through which it can able to retain employees for longtime. The following research project will assist in identifying the ways through which citedorganisation can provide effective motivation and retain them in the form for long time.Aims1

In order to overcome theimpact of resource, the scholar will follow activity based costing method under which activitycan plan according to the time schedule and fund will be allocated according to activity. Thewhole research will finish within a small time duration and this implication will affect the finalresult of the work. In this research, the scholar will use the Gantt chart technique under whichspecific time will allocate to each research activity or event. In addition to the data will collectfrom the primary research and secondary resources will not access by the researcher while datacollection.1.2 Factors that contribute to the process of research projectAt the time of the selection of the proposed project, the scholar have faced various kindsof factors which given their contribution in the following research. One major component isinterest, while researcher selected the topic then his interest of particular topic largely influenced.With aid of this, the investigator has just wanted to identify the motivation concept and itsimplication on the employee's performance and their retention (Hassan, 2010). On the otherhand, good knowledge and understanding about employees motivation also influence the scholarto select the project topic. Thus, in order to use this knowledge in the practical aspect, scholarhas decided to carry on the following research. As per the view of (Eze, 2009) motivation is a psychological phenomenon which means needsand wants of the individual have to be tackled by framing an incentive plan. In other word it canbe said that it is an act or process of giving someone a reason for doing something. As per theview of (Egwurudi, 2008) employees motivation is a level of energy, commitment and creativitythat company's employees bring to their job. It is an intrinsic enthusiasm about and drive toaccomplish activities related to work within the organisation. As per the view of (Danish andUsman, 2010) employees motivation is a factor which influence them for taking high levelinitiative and accomplish their task in an effective manner. Employees motivation is that forcethrough which they can influence for higher performance and productivity within thecorporation. With assistance of motivation, employees can influence for accomplishing the taskwithin time period.Importance of employees motivationAs per the view of (Yousaf, Yang and Sanders, 2015) employees motivation is veryimportant for company's growth and profitability. The entire operation of business is largelydepends upon the employee's performance. Thus, it is very important for management that italways keep motivate employees and encourage them for higher performance. With assistance ofeffective performance and contribution of employees, firm can attain impressive profitability andgrowth. As per the view of (David, 2009) if personnels are motivated and encouraged then theywill able to give their best contribution and efforts in attaining determined objective. On theother hand if employees are not satisfied from the company's policies, practices, system andstructure then their performance can negatively influence which directly affect corporation'sperformance. Thus, it can be said that in order to achieve the high level profitability andproductivity of company. Employees motivation plays a very crucial role.Employees motivation techniquesAs per the view of (Ashraf, Azam and Ashraf, 2015) employees motivation assist thecorporation in increasing profitability and brand image because as employees gives their bestcontribution and takes initiative for higher performance then it positively affects company'sgrowth. There are large number of motivation techniques and ways through which it canmotivate and encourage employees. One of the major motivation technique is monetary rewardsthat is related to money based reward.
