INTRODUCTIONLeadership is quality which influence person or different groups and community toperform their task effectively (Zhu 2019). Organisation plays an important role in managing thework effectively so that company aim can be achieved in given time frame. Manager haveresponsibility to manage and control various business operation smoothly and in well definedmanner. In this present report Corus has been chosen which is a part of TATA steel group and itis a six largest steel producer in world. This report covers various elements which includecomparison of different roles and responsibility of leaders. It also help to figure out various rolesand responsibilities of managers to support organisation. There are various theory and model usein project to justify the statement. Beside this, report also covers various factor which effect thebusiness environment and decision making by leaders and managers.TASK 1P1 Determine and analyse the different kind of duty and characteristics of a leader and managersLeaders & mangers have well-defined role in company which help company to fulfil theirtask and objectives effectively. Every organization turn to be successful because of their leadersand managers which are the reason behind handling the operations activities in order to makeeffective decision to grow and expand their business activities. Leaders &managers oforganisation have different job and duties towards company.Leaders: It is a individual who take fist step and promote the individuals to execute inorder to achieve organizational goals and objective in limited time frame.. As the leader of corussteels is optimistic which help in facing the obstacles and problems effectively. Leaders shouldhave initiative approach because he is the individual who take responsibilities and action forbetterment of organisation.A leaders is a person who influences a group of people towards the achievement of agoal (Carr-Ruffino, 2019). A leader is individual who set the example for employees who areworking in the organisation and motivate them to achieve organisation goals.A person who hold the dominant or superior position within the organisation or aparticular field is known as a leader (Dampson and Edwards2019). A leader must be qualifiedand must have influenced in organisation in order to motivate employees.1
