INTRODUCTIONDeveloping manager is very important aspect to manage each and every aspect of thecompany. It assists to gain high profits and positive outcomes at workplace. Managers areperforming different operations to manage positive outcomes and effective results at workplace.Hence, they can easily support to different outcomes and results of the company throughoperating functions in different areas (Bendall, Davis and Pe’er, 2014). In addition to this,manager enhances skills and capabilities of employees towards the business objectives and goals.Present study is based on Jamie Oliver Restaurant which is hospitality industry in UK. They aregiving effective contribution to managing quality standards of their products and services invarious areas of the company. On the other hand, Hilton hotel also taken to demonstratedifference between leadership style of both organization. In this context, present report coversdifferent types of leadership style and their characteristics to operate effective functions withinthe business. Furthermore, it also determine communication process to dealing in differentsituation at workplace. At last, it covers motivation to employees towards the business objectivesand goals.TASK 11.1 Compare different management stylesEvery business uses different management styles which assist to dealing situation of thecompany. According to business strategy and objectives manager determine different roles andcharacteristics within the enterprise (Lall, Navaretti and Wignaraja, 2016). Differentmanagement styles are autocratic, democratic, participative and many others. To dealing indifferent situation Jamie Oliver Restaurant and Hilton hotel, manager use distinctive style. Strength- In this stylemanager never fails to managebusiness operations so thatthey can make effectiveoperations and profitability.Hence, it also support tovarious fundamental aspects ofthe company. To achieve businessobjectives, Hilton hotel needto manage their functions andoperations through takingeffective participation fromemployees (Boers, Kirwan andMarch, 2014).. 1.2 Characteristics of different leadership stylesIn Jamie Oliver Restaurant participative leadership style take place which is veryimportant to deliver effective participation at workplace. They are taken different characteristicat workplaces which are as follows:Innovation: In participative style, manager of Jamie Oliver Restaurant has characteristicsto innovate things. In this aspect, they can enhance revenue and profits in the business. It

is also assist to maintain effective results to manage results in the firm (Zepeda, 2013).Hence, they can also take new things within the firm. Vision: In Jamie Oliver Restaurant, manager has vision to manage operations throughtaking high vision at workplace. It will assist to develop positive outcomes and effectiveresults. Inner values: Participative leaders are always find inner values of employees to take theirparticipation towards the business objectives (Bendall, Davis and Pe’er, 2014). In thisaspect, they are judge inner values and knowledge of employees for Jamie OliverRestaurant.Inspiration: Leaders are always giving positive inspirations to employees for managebusiness objectives and objectives within Jamie Oliver Restaurant. It will assist to inspirethem for achieve targets and effective operations within business (Lall, Navaretti andWignaraja, 2016).On the other hand, in Hilton hotel, leaders are taking autocratic style to handle businesssituations and objectives of the company. They are only gives direction to making decision atworkplace. Hence, they can easily take positive results and perform different characteristic. Theyare as follows:Positive attitude: Great leaders of autocratic style in Hilton hotel have always positiveattitude within the firm. They are always happy and motivate to employees as a positiveattitude. It can be done through making positive outcomes from wrong things atworkplace (Gennaioli, La Porta and Shleifer, 2013). Manage failure and setbacks: Autocratic leaders are always known that how to deals withfailure outcomes and set again the targets. They are remaining calm and logically takenfor Hilton hotel situations. Take responsibility: Autocratic leaders are taken responsibility to expect employee’ssituation to deals with business situations. Hence, they can easily achieve target withouttaking their employees participation. In order to deal with situation, they are possesstrustworthy and integrity at workplace (Greving, Wermer and Algra, 2014).

Delegate: Sometimes autocratic leaders are doing all things by themselves to achievebusiness objectives. According to workers capabilities and ability, they are delegate rolesand responsibility to their members to achieve business goals.1.3 Evaluate communication process in the businessCommunication process defines as steps through sender send message a receiver receiveit. It is started with developing an idea within Jamie Oliver Restaurant to manager businessfunctions. It consist various steps which are as follows:Developing idea by sender: In this step, communicator develop concept at workplacewith sending an idea (Boers, Kirwan and March, 2014).. The main advantage of verbal communication in that transparency remain continueso people understand the view point of employer and support them. With the help ofverbal communication managers can reduce situation of misunderstandings. Decision canbe made by the mangers of Jamie Oliver Restaurant immediate without any delay. Withthe help of face to face communication team working sprite and group energy getincreased among people.
