INTRODUCTIONManagement and operation is an essential branch within field of business. These both arethe key function of any company. Business management and operations includevarious activities such as planning and execution of strategies. The role of manager andleader is to ensure that organisation work properly. Management and operational activitiesinvolve establishing of processes and monitoring them to ensure desired outcome. Thesetwo function of manager and leader intends to assist enterprise in achieving goals andobjectives.The purpose of the study is to explain the concept of management and operation throughgiving the example of M&S. Report has focus on developing understanding aboutimportance of management and operation activities in business.
